What would be really useful is if we could decide which dinos will be on the leash. I am starting a little dino tribe on herb island and i really only want to keep my swimmers on a leash and let the others roam and harvest freely. Can this be done?

The new updated I am currently having problems with. As once I update it, It gets removed from the mod list.

Trying to figure out that issue. Thank you for your understanding.

@Thundercraft
I'm vary active and I am actually looking into that as a solution as there are many that has smithy. There is a TamedComponent_Smithy_BP that I thought would work but for some reason in the test environment it works but when I update my Mod it doesn't work.

This is not doing @RunicKnight1 solution first. That was what was frustrating me as the Smithy_BP is linked to all dinos that has the crafting saddles. Again it links in the Dev kit but not when I send the update.

@RunicKnight1 write, quote:
"That would mean you would have to add it to each creature that is smithy capable..."

That works for vanilla creatures. But... what about all the countless creatures added by the countless dino and creature mods on the Workshop?

Wouldn't this solution require creating patches for each and every dino and creature mod ever published on the Workshop? Or, can a patch be created such that it automatically finds and patches any creature that is smithy capable, added by a mod or otherwise?

@RunicKnight1

Thank you so much it has been bugging me so much. There is nothing I have to do in the Primal itemStructure BP?

@CrimzonGrim If you are still having trouble adding the DinoLeash to the Saddle smithy, there is one method I have found that works okay. Add it directly to a creature's bp. In other words, in your PrimalGgameData_BP under "Additional Structure Engrams", add a creature's bp that normally has a saddle smithy: Argent_Character_BP for example.

That would mean you would have to add it to each creature that is smithy capable, though. It is tedious and annoying, but it does work. Hope this helps.

Since I have made the important fixes and changes. I will being doing Alternating weeks for working on ASE and ASA. Making release weekly no matter how big or small.

Thank you for all your support, Today I am porting over the Dino Leash to ASA and hoping everything goes well.

This sounds like a really cool mod. I definitely plan to try it out.
But, can you please provide a bit more of a description?

Granted, we can sort of infer what this mod does from the name and from parts of the description like "Fixed", "Future Additions" and "Update Notes". But it'd be nice to know more aside from the fact that this adds some sort of leash for dinos, like...
* What ingredients are needed to craft it (and at which crafting station(s))?
* What is the number/distance of the radius (and is there a way to adjust this)?
* How do we leash our dinos? And how do we un-leash them?

I'm Sorry all who have downloaded the Mod. I have been having trouble updating it with the new changes made, when I realised I forgot to add it to the smithy. Since my attempt to add it to the smithy it has broken the item.

I have reverted back to the 1.0.3.0 version which is the last working one until I find the cause.

In the mean time, I am spending the day fixing this and I will be trying my first attempt to move it to Ark Ascended for testing. I am also working on Slight changes to the model to have it stand out as a separate Item.

Thank you for you follows and patients.

@slatehawaii
You know what, that's an amazing Idea. This will be added to me list. I'm actually excited about that Idea, I may start it Monday once I figure out a small bug in my leash.
