Great mod! However, this makes some ambient noises occur too frequently for me.

very useful and also really helps with optimizing the game, nitrate and other things just makes it worse for some reason

мод игру крашает, помимо того что не создается мир, так еще и баганый интерфейс и прочее. После удаления мода, всё равно ничего не ИЗМЕНЯЕТСЯ
After the bottom two options are enabled, the background wall of the Calamity's Sulphurous Sea cannot be displayed normally.

thank you
Yoowi Kawasaki May 17 @ 10:37am
thank you all
Negaversa May 17 @ 10:34am
youre right! when i remove better zoom it fixes the problem. i will report this to the better zoom page
史郎 ﮚħĩřø史郎 May 17 @ 10:28am
I found out that FPS drop is due to mod update "Better Zoom".
Negaversa May 17 @ 10:17am
{LINK REMOVED} here is the pasted log
Ash May 17 @ 10:11am
After update I experience fps drop too
Stellar  [author] May 17 @ 10:09am
You can probably just paste it in hastebin
https://www.toptal.com/developers/hastebin
Negaversa May 17 @ 10:03am
ok ive found my log file not sure where to send it though
Stellar  [author] May 17 @ 9:58am
Or right click the game -> manage -> browse local files -> tModLoader-Logs/client.log
Stellar  [author] May 17 @ 9:55am
<your steam directory>/steamapps/common/tModLoader/tModLoader-Logs/client.log
Negaversa May 17 @ 9:53am
where do i find the log? i also seem to get a consistent 48-50 fps with the mod with the settings i had before
Stellar  [author] May 17 @ 9:50am
But if someone with the issue wants to post a log from when it happens I could take a look
Stellar  [author] May 17 @ 9:49am
Nothing changed since the last update that would affect performance. The only thing that was added was a Russian translation, and a friendlier error message when other mods try to use this mod's API before it's loaded
Negaversa May 17 @ 9:16am
latest update cut my fps in quarters, fps goes back up when i disable the mod. is there any way to fix?
Yoowi Kawasaki May 17 @ 9:00am
Disable the motion smoothing feature in the mod config, and then turn frame skip back on in video settings (it gets automatically forced off). Then you can run the game at a locked 60hz.

fwiw there are other optimization mods that are probably more stable than this one, though

helped to return at least 60 fps Thank you
纪野 May 17 @ 8:55am
After the 5.17 update, the mod was enabled, and the frame rate dropped significantly
Yoowi Kawasaki May 17 @ 8:53am
Removing the mod does not help to get rid of the problem
Yoowi Kawasaki May 17 @ 8:48am
now the game lags and crashes
Thank you for your time! :D

Just saw that you can limit the FPS, but I’m not sure if it’s gonna cause more good then harm.
Just wondering, what if I don’t wanna use the high FPS part of the mod? But just the optimizations. My monitor is 60hz, but maybe the optimizations will help me get a more consistent framerate?

If you are on AMD, turn off adaptive sync. Fixed my stuttering issues
zazaza May 11 @ 4:35am
Game now runs at 10 fps even after uninstalling the mod. No documentation on how to fix such issues. DO NOT DOWNLOAD
Katora Noku May 8 @ 3:28pm
Nice!!! fixed here.
Stellar  [author] May 8 @ 11:39am
Fixed from Radiance's end ...probably. Can't say for sure because the log is truncated. Looks like another mod was causing Radiance to load before this one, which caused some unexpected behavior
Katora Noku May 8 @ 7:01am
There is an incompatibility with the Radiance mod, with High FPS Support enabled, it is not possible to activate Radiance.

Here is the log: https://pastebin.com/7PFyB2dK

this mod makes holding right click to pick up multiple items in a stack barely work
xu Apr 18 @ 2:23pm
some background blocks are flickering black with no experimental features enabled
T シ Apr 14 @ 1:57pm
the problem happens olny with torches that are placed, when im holding in hand nothing ocurrs
T シ Apr 14 @ 1:52pm
i'm having problems with the remnants mod, when i activate it, and its dependences, the torches go crazy AF, blinking fast
Waffles22 Apr 11 @ 5:42pm
I have found an important, recent bug! This mod causes flickering with Tmodloader's newly introduced method of drawing special tiles, which is documented here https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/pull/4535 .

Un Mod Bastante Util Para Optimizar Terraria, Sobre Todo En Pc's Algo Malas Como La MIa

PD: lamento Que El Comentario No Este En Ingles
Rikap Apr 8 @ 12:10pm
My character is running very fast even after uninstalling the mod, does anyone know how to solve it?
Marco Apr 8 @ 11:17am
can you fix the solid tile optimization breaking stairs pls
quantum Mar 31 @ 5:35pm
BUG: Using solid tile optimisation makes stair tiles break.
Knugen Mar 30 @ 12:51pm
Can anyone tell me why background speed and other UI related things is super fast even though I have turned on FPS limiter to 100FPS?
Ketich Mar 29 @ 11:38am
Worked perfectly for me on 120fps, haven't seen much issues apart from spiders from Spider Staff just disappearing instantly instead of latching onto enemies
咕咕咕 Mar 25 @ 5:43am
Never have any game speed problem, I've even tried use RTSS and turn off VSync in nvidia control panel to get more than 500fps on 9700X cpu still works so good LOL
3 Legged Camel Mar 23 @ 8:34pm
Not entirely sure why people are complaining about this mod. As long as you customize it properly, and make sure you do not mess with game tick speeds, it works flawlessly. (single player - no idea about multiplayer)
Deus Mar 23 @ 3:54am
Do NOT use this mod. It will mess up your game speed. The mod's game speed changer does not work, instead installing alone speeds up game simulation by about 3x, and even uninstalling doesn't change it.
annycian Mar 23 @ 12:02am
would this mod get something like a toggle-able fps limiter, maybe in some cases for AFK farming
Gor⁧⁧gon Mar 22 @ 2:34pm
Playing with this mod at 180hz, with it enabled anytime I hover over an inventory menu or equipment slot things that are highlighted by the yellow border of Smart Cursor mode will flicker rapidly. How might I fix this?
VENIDE Mar 16 @ 11:24am
figured out to get your game speed back to normal for single and multi. after uninstalling the mod, turn on frame skip and completely uninstall tmodloader. once you reinstall your game speed will return to normal
