one of the enemy droid ships shoots buzz droids at you and I dont know how to kill them. It destroys my ship very fast.

– Yes, "Switchable" just means you can change the laser colors, nothing more.
– The Turbolaser Carronade Battery (2x6) is a bug that we have addressed but will be released in the next patch. Thanks for the heads up!

– Zersium is likely being blocked by another mod you have enabled - try disabling others to check.

– The Compact Turbolasers don't have a point defense mode - Not sure where you are seeing this, it isn’t a feature in the current version. Let me know if we are misinforming in the description somewhere.

Could it be that the "turbolaser carronade battery" (2x6) doesn't work? It seems to fire, however, the bullets kind of explode inside the barrel

4x5 30k thrust
5x6 45k thrust
6x7 60k thrust

These would fill in from 10k to 75k in 15k jumps in thrust.

Hey, really fun mod!
I am still using the v0.28.2 of the game with the mod so I can't comment on if everything is working on the new update or not though.

Is there any plans or maybe a chance of getting some more ion thrusters?
the jump from the hauler 3x4 10k thrust to the 7x10 75k thruster is pretty huge.

Which is making it challenging to make a decent providence that can match the rest of my fleets speeds.

Hi. I really enjoy your work — it’s clear you know your stuff!
I’m reaching out because I’d love to revive an old Warhammer 40k mod from Cosmoteer version 0.15.12 and bring it up to date with the current game.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the skills to do it myself. Some parts of the mod still have old code, and I couldn't get it to work properly.
Would you (or anyone you know) be willing to help with this? If so, the price can be discussed separately, any work should be valuable.

Is there by chance any work on cables? Man powered batteries transported my people making a single man ship into a 9 man or more crew seems ridiculous.

Are the hex missiles broken? Not so fun when you get one shooted by 1 missile, that breaks 90% of the ship apart.

@urlings_55 could you elaborate on the decals issue? They seem to be working fine on my end.

If you are talking about the conflict with the vanilla ones, there isn't much we can do about that without having to repaint hundreds of ships. Unfortunately those vanilla versions were actually added after ours were in the game (back from classic).

To help with this I added the vanilla ones back into the game under a slightly different name so people could still access them if they wanted.

point defense is far too powerful and shields go back up far too quickly making captial ship battles take 10 gazillion years. point defense is also way to pervasive, only a couple of ships like the crusader and recrusant should get a lot of point, and also why can point defense even shoot down blaster/turbolaser bolts? to my knowledge I dont know of any weapon in lore that can shoot down blaster bolts and it makes combat so much worse. the heavy flak gun is also insane and does the most dps out of any weapon and also can also shoot down shots, needs a serious nerf. If i knew how to code at all I would try to fix this mod because as it stands its such a good mod with glaring gameplay issues that would make combat way more fun, and perhaps even somewhat balanced for vanilla ships.

@Hehe face, fixes were already implemented. Feel free to join the discord if you need help troubleshooting. Updates can sometimes not fully come through so you may need to verify your files and/or delete and re-add all the mods. Make sure you aren’t missing any prerequisites. (I have better troubleshooting instructions on the discord or in these comments further back)

I got a bug, but I can't report the whole thing because it goes way past the character limit, And I don't know which part, if I should at all, to delete to make it small enough to be under the character limit.
Still working on those hot-fixes chief just how bad did they mess with the codes this time seemed pretty major form the patch notes
Awesome mod I don't play without and awesome responsiveness.

When do i start seeing AI ships for this mod? i can use all the weapons and stuff to build with, but all the AI ships are still vanilla.

@raufold i was weirded out too but then by playtesting i understood the difference. Most guns might seem to have huge dps but armor penetration is really low. Or they have small arcs or terrible tracking or weapon speed etc. Install a weapon with like penetration 9 but low dps and watch it tear apart ships and stations.

陈星瑶 - why does light turbolaser weigh 10 tons but medium turbolaser only 4.5 tons?
Why dual laser cannon is 2x2, costs 3000 and weighs 9 tons but only deals 95 DPS but quad cannon is also 2x2, costs 4250 and weighs 7 tons while dealing 4800 DPS?
I have so many questions...

@Redrave where is the options to adjust the internal shield colour I cant find it, i can copy paste shield with different colour from other premade ships but cant find the options to change it myself, i see there different styles for cockpits and engines too but cant find how to change them either

@LightByLion, you just need to select the shield, base game ones I don't believe can be changed without a different mod. Internal shields can be adjusted

Simply Love the mods. One thing i would like to see is another grouping in ship selection, being to be able to select any of the other ships i see flying around, like the transports and haulers.I cant seem to find them in the menu which makes me think they are in another file that we do not have access to. other than that once again simply love your mods
