Hi. I really enjoy your work — it’s clear you know your stuff!
I’m reaching out because I’d love to revive an old Warhammer 40k mod from Cosmoteer version 0.15.12 and bring it up to date with the current game.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the skills to do it myself. Some parts of the mod still have old code, and I couldn't get it to work properly.
Would you (or anyone you know) be willing to help with this? If so, the price can be discussed separately, any work should be valuable.

I came up with a problem that my saving became Creative mode and I can't disable it to have a normal mode

Is there by chance any work on cables? Man powered batteries transported my people making a single man ship into a 9 man or more crew seems ridiculous.

Are the hex missiles broken? Not so fun when you get one shooted by 1 missile, that breaks 90% of the ship apart.

@urlings_55 could you elaborate on the decals issue? They seem to be working fine on my end.

If you are talking about the conflict with the vanilla ones, there isn't much we can do about that without having to repaint hundreds of ships. Unfortunately those vanilla versions were actually added after ours were in the game (back from classic).

To help with this I added the vanilla ones back into the game under a slightly different name so people could still access them if they wanted.

oh and hex missiles need nerfed and barely even act like they would in lore.

point defense is far too powerful and shields go back up far too quickly making captial ship battles take 10 gazillion years. point defense is also way to pervasive, only a couple of ships like the crusader and recrusant should get a lot of point, and also why can point defense even shoot down blaster/turbolaser bolts? to my knowledge I dont know of any weapon in lore that can shoot down blaster bolts and it makes combat so much worse. the heavy flak gun is also insane and does the most dps out of any weapon and also can also shoot down shots, needs a serious nerf. If i knew how to code at all I would try to fix this mod because as it stands its such a good mod with glaring gameplay issues that would make combat way more fun, and perhaps even somewhat balanced for vanilla ships.
