I have to ask, Striking Reflection seems rather...unusual. What's the gimmick there?

hey! so uh...i think something messes with the virtue CC trinket. i keep getting afflicted more often than i virtue. i don't know why. do i need to send the mod list

So, what is the point of the Prototype Barrel? +15% debuff and move chance for... -7 flat damage on Aim for the Heart, 5 self damage on critical, and... a 120% stun on ranged critical.

So regarding that it's a -45% by default at level 1, the 6-12 damage becomes 3-7, and... +100% with stun means it does a whopping 6-14 damage and a 21 damage critical. Which.... Having the -7 flat damage means it does... 14 damage. You get 14 damage, 5 HP damage to yourself, and a stun on a character that's already stunned. Otherwise you get a 4 damage critical with a stun that you hope to the Shambler doesn't get resisted.

I just updated the mod. Try updating and check it again (the bugged text should be replaced with english, I don't think my translator worked on those lines)

The Protection Detail skill is especially more bugged, and the only information that appears on the description is that its protect a allie and give 1+ moviment, other informations appears bugged like that "[<buff_stat>]" things i mentioned

The informations like damage vs stun, precision, damage % appears normaly, but some informations appear bugged/extensive, like "[<buff_stat_tooltip_upgrade_discount_Loc_AimforHeartTooltipExtra>]", instead of "This skill has a critical hit chance of 100%" i presume

took me a bit to realize the guard grants a free MOVE action. oops. nonetheless this class is top notch quality, the art is phenomenal, the trinket design is very fun and the class itself is fun to play. Im glad we have amazing modders like this! thank you for your work!

I must be the unluckiest person in the world, then, because I got afflicted while using the Crimson Court trinket set. I assumed it must have been 50% from that. Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks so much for your feedback and analysis on both this mod and the Tempest! Really glad you were picking up on those story threads I left behind, and I love your breakdown of some of the trinkets! (I admit I had a lot of trouble designing some of Arbiter's stuff compared to my other mods, they are definitely a bit more binary than I would like).

Also a quick P.S about the virtue chance: the Arbiter's CC set bonus sets his virtue chance to 95%, not 50%. It's not 2x of 25%, it's 25% + 100%, which hits the cap of 95%. It would be much worse if it was just 50%.

Similarly, Pistoleer's Preferred (removing the mark requirement from Lightning Hands at the cost of a big damage debuff) has a opportunity cost of reducing your available moves (and that great flexibility) for a middling free attack. The Crimson Court trinkets rely on you hitting the 50% chance to virtue to get any value out of them, otherwise they act as big detriments.

Design-wise, I love how he looks. But I especially love his attack animations. The creator really captured the satisfying sounds and recoil of a rifle. A common theme among this creator's mods is incorporating stacks of unique dialogue for town and camping events that make each character feel not only mechanically unique, but lore unique as well. The Arbiter's dialogue is rich with compelling hints of his backstory. Perfectly encapsulates show-don't-tell, because I'm left wanting to learn more about Brynn and Arbiter's time in the Coven.

Arbiter is great! There aren't many heroes who excel at attacking mid-rank. But similarly to the creator's other mods, he's quite flexible and can fit a spot in almost any team comp. Mark teams are great with the free lightning hands action, but he also slots in nicely with dancer teams, aided by his ability to reposition with Aim for the Heart.

I may not have yet found all his trinkets, but his selection felt a little underwhelming. The two Very Rares buff and nerf melee/range respectively, but part of why I like Arbiter is for his flexibility, shooting mid-ranks or meleeing the front and activating riposte. It never felt worthwhile to gimp either range or melee where there are base-game trinkets providing more rounded buffs.

You can just pass. Passing after using aim for the heart inflicts less stress too.

there should be an option to dont use the free move option on "aim for the heart"

I've never heard any issues about him not appearing. Maybe you have too many other class mods installed? If he's really not appearing, you can always go into his .info file and increase his card chance by 10 or even 99

This class isn't appearing for me, I downloaded this mod almost a week ago and I've yet see them appear in the stagecoach

Thats what elite unit is all about. Amazing skills full of flavour and grand story to tell. He can buff allies so they can see the stealthy bastards and i appreciate that. Deffinitely stronger than the original bunch.

Aim for the Heart is NOT a free action. It gives one free MOVE action, which is why it disables all your normal skills after use.

I love my Arbiter. I named him Leopold.
Leopold spreads pain from the backline and with Eagle Eye he causes his allies to be strong as well.

so I've noticed that the free actions "aim for the heart" and "lighting hands" don't seem to allow the arbiter to use any other skill? unless mine is somehow bugged are you able to fix this?
