Alright sounds good, i have ported over SFM models to Left 4 Dead 2 before it does take a bit of work but i am sure i can get something going. I ain't the best at making first person arms so i might pond that off to a friend who knows what to do. But I'll be looking forward to the release of NC models.

If you plan on making an NC model for L4D2, then you'll probably have to merge multiple meshes together and then rig that up with an armature using a couple of Blender addons. I will be uploading NC and VS character packs to the SFM workshop at some point, though I'm unsure how they'll work in other games, given how the bodygroups work. You may also need a viewmodel mesh (which can be found in the game's files easily enough) and rig it up to a Source viewmodel armature aswell, if you want proper Planetside 2 first-person animations.

And if you'd like to use any of the character models I've posted thus far, you not only have my permission but also my encouragement! I'd love to see what folks make with the things I've created!

Yea i heard that the models for Planetside 2 lacks armatures so i feel like even if i do manage to get a model from the game i might not be able to do much. Because i have been trying to export a New Conglomerate Light Assault Trooper or Engineer (without the gadget on the right arm) so i can make it into a survivor mod for Left 4 Dead 2 to go along with the NC Weapons i made.

But thanks for letting me know, i will see if i can look into getting the models. If at any point you do manage to make NC and VS to complete the set. I might ask you if i can use the model to try and port it to L4D2. Heck might even test it out with the TR models here. But considering you use Half Life Armatures, it will definitely make porting easier since the Valvebones are already written into the model.

@Spykitty358 Thanks! As for ripping PS2 assets, you'll need to look for a tool called PS2LS2 and then use it to generate a namelist for your installed PS2 files. Then you can import the PACK2 files and export a few models at a time to a folder of your choosing! Thus far, I have not found a way to export animations or armatures from the game, so all of that has to be manually rigged in Blender ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nice, keep up the good work. I am still trying to figure out how to even export the models from Planetside 2.
