guys, the mod is discontinued due to me deciding to become a game dev instead of a terraria mod dev. I gotta admit, this mod was kinda terrible, bc i was bad at coding when making it. Im now fairly good, but i dont think i will continue adding content

Hey, So I was looking at boss drops, and couldnt find literally anything new. Is all the stuff craftable or is my game lagging. (Yes I have it turned on.)

hey hello, I just saw this mod and was curious about the content so I wanted to ask what this mod does exactly, brings a new class with progression from start to end (weapons,armor and accesories?, or only adds endgame stuff?, like I love reapers and scythes and all of that so I just wanted to know.

Since it's your first mod, I'll start by saying good job. Modding isn't easy.
However, I'm still obligated to remind you that it's good modding etiquette to write up a list of things your mod adds/changes.

@Toast it was one of the first things i tried to do but i realized instantly that i am NOT good enough to create a boss, i need to still learn ALOT

@Popo u dont have to join the discord server to know what it does tho, u can use the recipe browser mod, the discord server is just to idk play with other ppl and stuff

bill clinton the community addon for calamity adds coldheart icicle, but thats just your thinking.

for coldheart icicle and other removed weapons and items, use calamity demutation.

@baconmaxf i cant add the coldheart icicle (this is making me delay my update ALOT) bc i cant change the archmage's shop as its a modded npc and globalNPC (to change other npcs' shops) is only for vanilla ones, so the best output is just that its in all npc shops and that is terrible bc u can get it pre-boss like that

@A_Good_Player_Official im done with most things yall asked me (Armor, + Coldheart Icicle) and im also making a cake girl NPC that sells some new cakes. Im done with all the coding i just gotta make the NPC sprite sheet, so imma do the update soon

also as long as the rainbow armor is rainbow, i could care less how it looks. Im just happy it exists.

@A_Good_Player_Official btw i also did the rainbow armor but i suck at spriting so much, i just recolor sprites most of the time for my items but i cant do it for a rainbow set so i gotta actually sprite it and it looks bad, imma try to make a good one tho. Another reason on why i didnt do the Chaos state thing is that chaos state does nothing on enemies obsiously and making a new buff that does creative stuff like vibrate and stuff is something idk how to do.

as for the Cahos state thing, could whatever enemy is affected by it, instead of teleporting, kind of jitter? like randomly turn around randomly and constantly, while taking damage. kind of like if you get tazed in other games and you vibrate

Also mabye the bosses are immune, as that would totally break them

Mabye you could switch the clorophyte bars with luminite bars or something else in calamity? I havent gotten very far into calamity yet (im not even in hardmode yet) so i have no idea what you could use.

Also thank you so much for rainbow wings i will cherish them forever.

@baconmaxf i cant figure out how to make it so that it reduces enemy hp by 2%, but im doing a rework and a staff version for it too used in the recipe for the lunar staff

and switching is a must since this magic weapon only gives a shield nothing else

25% of damage reduction is a LOT

@rocksinshoe that is a good idea but reducing the damage taken by 25% doesnt help alot in boss fights, and im pretty sure u wouldnt be able to switch to another weapon and deal damage while using it

@A_Good_Player_Official I can probably manage to alredy make the wings and maybe add a special feather drop to those hallow enemies that fly and shoot "bullets" to craft them. I'm not really sure about the rainbow armor as the armors are really well made in the game progression at that point. the Painbow might be cool but im not really sure i can manage to code the thing, i can try tho. The chaos state on enemies would be great but more of a buff than a debuff as it makes it harder to hit them and would be kinda glitchy on some enemies probably. The potion of shimmer would actually be really helpful, im probably gonna try to add it but im not sure about in what progression point, probably crafted with some hallow biome items. I dont think i am going to make boss fights for now, i am experimenting a bit with the minion boss from the examplemod to kinda understand, but i am not good at spriting, so it would probably also look bad

@Valerii-Abertovich it adds 5 melee, 1 mage, 1 pickaxe and a new drop the the celestial pillars. Use the recipe browser mod bc it lets u see all mod recipes and items

I would really love something rainbow related. Like maybe wings made of rainbow gel, souls of flight, and an angel feather?

Or Rainbow Armor, made from clorohphyte bars and rainbow gel?

A post moonlord boomerang called the Painbow that when thrown flies forward till its peak or hits something and them flies above you in an arc before returning to you from behind?

Something that inflicts the cahos state on enemies would be cool, making whoever or whatever was hit constantly take damage and teleport randomly.

A potion of shimmer that inflicts the shimmer effect on you while also making you glow would be super useful for caving.

And if you ever make any bossfights, the Tainted Empress Of Light is another idea i had. They would be summoned by mixing the empresses light pet with some souls of night at a demon altar and then throwing it onto lava in the underworld during the day.

@dycel i understand, what if instead of consuming mana the shield consumes player damage and turns it into damage reduction or defence? example: shield will give 25 defence while consuming total 25% general damage (-25% damage to all) or 5% damage reduction for the same price.

how many weapons does tjhis mod add?

@rocksinshoe i tried to make it but i cant figure out how to put a cooldown to the weapon, and without it, anyone with enough mana potions would have an infinite shield

add a magic weapon that puts a protective shield around the player at the cost of constantly consuming mana

Just comment items or anything yall want and i will try to add it to the mod
