I think for this cosmetic, muting the colours when painted would work well with keeping the darker look it has.

The cosmetic looks really nice, but the fact it's a reference to how someone looks in a Cod game it's simply not my cup of tea. Best of luck getting it in though!

@Domas hats with large paint regions like that have been a thing since 2009; this was something that Valve instigated, too, so don't put that on workshoppers

Youuuchers, a good try but it does need a lot of work on the beard. Work on the texture a bit more, otherwise solid choice.

Even if it's a reference to BO2's depiction Jonas Malheiro Savimbi, I think it looks pretty good on its own too, might just be me being an optimist(?) though.
