The missile splits when it finds a radar target, and is a certain distance from it.
All the missiles rely 100% on them finding a radar target

So when I used the cluster missile it just felt like an ordinary cruise missile from the explosion, is there supposed to be 4 different bombs that come off of this thing, if there is then the alt sensor needs to be tweaked.

(im not capping look up "special warheads mod"
Olosawa Sep 22, 2024 @ 12:10pm
very easy to modify the cruise missles to have modded nuclear warheads, now i can destroy the entirety of the arctic MUHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAA

Changed the entire depth system to be super easy to use and functional

yes so the problem the cruise missiles are having is that they just fly around in circles forever wherever you put the GPS
cinnabun  [author] Feb 18, 2024 @ 1:27am
Thank you! I would love insight into how I should improve the cruise missiles.

great sub just gotta fix the cruise misses but clusters work great and also it goes way to fast to handle but props for this masterpiece

Also yes to let water in you can either pull a vacuum first or you can use a liquid release valve

And for gps missiles to kill ships you have to kind of know where they are, but that’s for almost any missile unless you make a patrolling system

I understand how ballasts work, the issue was fitting enough compressed air to not have to sit on the surface recompressing air every time after you surfaced.

The issue was with making a good emptying system

(said you were having trouble with ballast in the notes)
ADWSKFv2 Nov 30, 2023 @ 12:03pm
also with ballast (i heard someone say) that if you have a door on the top + bottom,
-open both to flood,
-close top (leaving bottom hatch open ) and fill ballast with compressed air (pushes water out bottom)
-fill a few air tanks with air from surface to 1000atm (yes 1000 not 100) using several impeller pumps powered by medium electric motors (not the standard pumps- they take FOREVER) - should only take 30 seconds to a minute with impellers
-no pumps needed to fill ballast tanks with either air or water (just valves and doors) the air pressure should be high enough
-if using this method try to make the ballast tanks tall and thin (if the sub is tilted then a little bit of water will be left in the bottom as the compressed air is escaping through the door on the bottom, you may need a pump or two to deal with this) but having the ballasts more skinny (length not width) should solve/minimise this

i don't mean to sound like a total idiot (probably missed something) but how does one kill a ship with a gps missile? ships arent on the map and they move...? (says the sub has anti ship missiles?) (im trying to build a sub of my own and im struggling getting missiles to work (against ships)

Just so you know, ballast tanks have been changed so they work more like in real life (kind of). To have a realistic and functional ballast system, you need to open doors in the top and bottom of your ballast, letting water in and air out. Then if you open ONLY the bottom doors, you can blow compressed air in to 'blow' the water out through the bottom, emptying your ballast tanks. Then all you need to do is re-pressurize the tanks at the surface, and rinse and repeat.

I’m nearly done with a full depth hold fix.
cinnabun  [author] Nov 27, 2023 @ 1:59pm
The depth hold is spotty, I’m working on that
NlGGA VON Nov 27, 2023 @ 12:32pm
Sub just keeps bouncing up and down underwater when i try to use the depth holder
