They should be, as long as you have soil from an archean tree or hydroponics basins.

I've updated to 1.6. As far as I know, nothing changed in 1.6 that should break anything but let me know if any issues show up.

All plants, outdoors, in a temperate climate that never freezes (year round growing season). I do think i figured it out. I had toxifier generators that overlapped the growing zones. Every time the pollution spread, i had some plants rot.. it think the game considered the pollution levels to be 'changing' even though the plant zone was already fully polluted. i got rid of the generators and they're now growing to maturity.

@countrygirl86 is this happening with all the plant types or just some of them?

What conditions are the plants planted in other than pollution? (e.g. what biome are you in, are they outdoors or hydroponics, etc.)

AFAIK plant rotting is usually caused by the plants reaching their lifespan limit before they manage to fully grow due to intermittent conditions for their growth like temperature.

I've been having issues with plants rotting when they reach about 50% or so growth. I get a message "(name of plant) has died by rotting". I haven't had a single harvest, they all rot before maturity. The grow area is completely red in pollution overlay.

I don't think anything that was added in 1.5 requires any changes but let me know if you encounter any issues.

i believe it was the healroot, and cotton plants, i grew them outdoors.. oh maybe the fertility of the ground wasn't good. idk, i haven't played that save for a bit now

the entire map was polluted, it might've been a mod conflict, though i'm not sure what other mod could've conflicted. (temp was okay as well, the plants were dying randomly, and nothing was in the logs)

I'm aware of an issue where pawns will plant the toxic plant variants on non-polluted sections of hydroponic basins, after which they will instantly die. Is it possible the tile you're planting on isn't polluted?

I've noticed some of the plants dieing when they don't seem to have any reason to, (no damage to the plant, just *poof* no more plant) Is this a known issue, or am I special? (ps i have too many mods to really tell what the issue could be, but if I figure it out, I'll let you know)

Yeah no sweat, one of my mates has Ideology instead of Biotech and he was surprised when I told him painting was added to Core.

Does Toxtoria need to require Ideology? Tinctoria and painting are in Core since 1.4.

This is great, I love simple variety mods like this. If you're looking for a idea for a plant, then can I suggest a plant that produces very slowly something equal to the deepchem (from VE - Chemfuel) or just ordinary chemfuel.
