Guess i never used one of these things in a playthrough, how many things have radious like this actually?
Balthazad Oct 4 @ 1:32am
turns out, playing a Golyad kinda makes this mod necessary.
so. many. trees.

would be fancy if you'd add animus stones to the mod, so i wouldn't have to make use of a edited "smaller xyz radius" mod that does all 3 ;)

Nice, was looking for something like this. The anima tree requires just too much space normally.
Halfelfaedyn Aug 29 @ 10:32am
I think the point of the anima tree is to force you to keep some natural greenery in your base instead of building over everything, and give you some perks to make it worth it. But, I can still do that building a lovely garden around it. So at first I wasn't sure, but now I'd like to use this mod. Thank you!

Can't say in 1500 hours i really did much with them to be honest.

Some psycasts just pray to it sometimes and stuff like that. I just found it annoying once and just didn't like some dumb 30 raidus thing of empty space or having that thing out in the open ready to get burnt in a second because a raider decided to fuck around.

I haven't played Royalty yet, could you give me a hint how it was designed originally to play? I mean, the mechanic of this tree without this mod. thanks.
ShepirotGamer  [author] Jun 19 @ 9:18pm
Thanks, i made the mod for the same reason. :papyruswacky:
Antideluvinox Jun 19 @ 4:53pm
Usually end up doing nothing with stuff like Anima Trees because of these annoying restrictions, so this could be a godsend. Obrigato for making this mod :INSIDE_chick:
ShepirotGamer  [author] Jun 18 @ 11:02pm
Just updated the mod to 1.6, hope everyone keeps enjoying their nice indoor gardens :lunar2019piginablanket:
ShepirotGamer  [author] Mar 26 @ 9:58am
Oh alright, thanks for the info anyways :er_heart:
Genaeve Mar 26 @ 8:51am
Nope. I haven't been playing Rimworld for about a year. So, I basically forgot how the radius actually works. In other words: USER ERROR :MysteriaGodOfDeathHappy:
ShepirotGamer  [author] Mar 24 @ 11:52am
Oh well i am glad it finally worked for you, was it some mod conflict?
Genaeve Mar 24 @ 11:44am
omg, Nevermind! I figured it out! WOW, Sorry about that!
Genaeve Mar 24 @ 10:50am
Hi. I have a radius line around the anime tree. Is this normal? Also, if not, do you know of any mods that might conflict with it? Thank you in advance
ShepirotGamer  [author] Mar 14 @ 5:38am
I mean i guess i can think of a way to do it but it sounds really painful, first of all i don't think any tree or growable thing in rimworld grows in a 2x2 pattern so that would have to be made from ground up and to make the tree bigger the cheap way would be just stretching it but prefferably someone should make some real art for it.

This is such an awesome mod. Many kudos. One idea I've looked for in mods but haven't found was a mod for a larger Anima tree. If this thing is such a focal point for my great tribe, it would be neat to had the tree be actually tree sized. If you've played the medieval Rimworld mod, the 'great trees' in the Dark Forest biome come to mind as what I think would be rad. It's a small change (unless it's custom graphics I guess), but I think it would add a lot more flavor and fun to tribal or nature focused playthroughs. Like playing as fire worshipers is much more fun with insanely large bonfires, as an example

Hey well i mean even if sometimes its a hassle to mod this game i still like to do it. So if anyone has any ideas feel free to comment or something. And thanks for the support as always :mhwhappy:

Just came here for the anima tree - I don't mess with the gauranlen tree - but I love that you jumped on doing the same for that at a simple request. Good man.
ShepirotGamer  [author] Oct 19, 2024 @ 1:21pm
Couldn't really get the radius off the thing but i managed to get the debuffs from it even if it shows the red lines connecting to the buildings.

Hope you enjoy it.
T_GabiUel Oct 19, 2024 @ 11:38am
I really love this mod I am very grateful that you created it. Would it be possible for you to make one for the gauranlen tree aswell? Only if it doesn't take much of your time, obviously. Thanks again.
ShepirotGamer  [author] Jul 12, 2024 @ 8:21pm
Eh i cant keep track of how many mods i got sometimes too.

Guess if it works for you then enjoy :sans:
koimono Jul 12, 2024 @ 2:49pm
i may be stupid.. forgot i had a mod that re textured the Gauranlen tree to an anima tree
ShepirotGamer  [author] Jul 11, 2024 @ 11:55pm
I just took a screenshot to show you, i'd tell you to try and start the mod alone see if it fixes it in another new save or something to test it.

ShepirotGamer  [author] Jul 11, 2024 @ 11:52pm
Hmm i just tried it and it seemed to do just fine, i am pretty sure it must be an issue it must be having with other mods perhaps.
koimono Jul 11, 2024 @ 11:40pm
added it and it still kept the radius.. unless i have to start an entirely new colony for it to take effect
Surge Jul 5, 2024 @ 7:02am
I'm glad you kept it OP. It's the perfect mod for what I wanted it for!
Syben Jun 17, 2024 @ 6:11am
Perfect, precisely what I needed for my druid gardens.
ShepirotGamer  [author] Jun 9, 2024 @ 6:10am
I mean it pretty much is op for that i have written it in the description but idk, the few times i wanted to use the anima tree for something it was really annoying with that restriction and a lotta people seem to have liked the mod like this aswell so i dont think it should be changed at all.

You can just do that thing with the stones and then just move the anima tree in there with the mod so it doesnt give you any conflicts with structures.
szmtex Jun 8, 2024 @ 9:44pm
@ShepirotGamer hmm this is kinda op to be able to do that without any cost how about making it so Animus Stones would decerase radius and when all 4 are placed it would dissapear completly this way it wouldnt be so op and you would have gave purpouse to animus stones that are kinda pricey
T_GabiUel May 13, 2024 @ 5:09pm
Thank you for the mod, this is awesome and really necessary for my tribal runs :steamhappy:
Catbot1310 May 5, 2024 @ 12:40pm
is there a version of this for the guaranlen trees?
ShepirotGamer  [author] Apr 1, 2024 @ 4:59pm
Just updated to allow old versions and 1.5 :lunar2019piginablanket:
Łucznik Feb 3, 2024 @ 2:41pm
Just cut down the tree, -6 mood is not enough debuff for me to relocate my base ideas.
Karrnage Dec 2, 2023 @ 8:00am
Any sort of ETA on an update for no Gauranlen radii? Or will this not support that functionality?
ShepirotGamer  [author] Nov 22, 2023 @ 11:31am
Actually i guess i am leaving it how it is, dont know why but searched throught all defs in ideology and i still couldn't find the radius of this thing :papyrus:
ShepirotGamer  [author] Nov 22, 2023 @ 10:16am
Yeah maybe thats the way to go, i set the requirement of grass to 0 so that made it so you could always get psylink levels at it, so i wanted to make a cooldown but thats actually touching C# and i guess i should look more into that. Guess ill just remove the gauranlen tree radius and then ill release the update
BreadLord20 Nov 22, 2023 @ 9:34am
I suggest keeping the grass requirement (still need it for tribals anyways) but people can just not meditate to grow them, or floor the area off to prevent the grass from growing.
ShepirotGamer  [author] Nov 21, 2023 @ 4:42pm
Hmm i guess that makes sense, i should remove the 20 grass requirement and i also forgot to remove the radius from the gauranlen tree
Pasaway Nov 21, 2023 @ 2:32pm
Where would the grass even grow in the above garden? does the grass grow beyond the walls?
ShepirotGamer  [author] Nov 21, 2023 @ 8:18am
Yeah tried it with my own and it didn't give me any issues
shisa0721 Nov 21, 2023 @ 7:29am
Is it compatible for save game?
