You could consider allowing the Dragon Claw to forge support related entries, just like the part of the staff weapon. Although the gameplay of the Priest Dragon Lord is not mainstream, it is still an optional branch and has a natural form that specializes in healing. Also, I hope there can be more entries for enhancing support skills and summoning creatures. These two types of heroes are really hard to benefit from forging

- Added Conjure Greater Animal for staves and wands. This summon spell works on all terrain types and summons an animal unit based on the terrain.

Not at this point, just found out. Thank you for the prompt reaction, but your mod is possibly not the culprit. Sorry for stirring things up.
It's von schnitzel's extra units mods and in my savegame suddenly their torsos and weapons disappeared. But it's very strange, because viewing the same unit with the form, enchantments etc. in the encyclopedia is not broken, so it's some savegame shenanigans. I just went with the first thing that fit timewise.

@Washeek, I don't modify any base game files so it's very unlikely my mod is breaking the other unit mods. It's also possible those mods have been updated as well. Do you have any more details on what is broken?

@Boogie, yes it's an old screenshot. Forging Catalyst was part of an old version but was removed because it caused a crash if a player had more than 5 upgrades selected. I can re-test this with the new update, since Giant Kings can now forge with 6 infusion points.

Forging Catalyst doesnt show up in the crafting menu. Is this not part of your mod? Its show in the pictures highlighted and looks pretty cool. rest of the mod works fine. thanks.

@HANDDDSOME, could be a number of things. Did you include your custom rpk in Package Manager > Content > Resource Packs? You copied the base game upgrades, did you also make sure the pasted resources have the correct links?

@Dio, thank you! Another modder is working on a mod that adds culture specific upgrades for the item forge. I know the Primal Animal summons are included in that, lets see how the mod turns out.

I was looking for a mod that allow you to forge culture and tome units abilities on to heroes weapons. For example the Primal culture unit Ancestral Warden's Primal Lunge onto heroes polearm weapons or the Tome of Supremacy Exemplar Embolden Allies on to heroes shield slot. This mod is awesome and comes close. Is the above possible?

@Nexious, yes I made sure to create an item with 6 infusion points. Likely the cause is any mod that changes hero skills/points since they modify the same file that control the infusion points.

Strange, I wonder what causes the issue then since I do not have any other mod that do any changes to the item forge. Did you make sure to add all 6 infusion points? Because the items costs are normal until you add the 6th infusion point to it.

Not sure if this mod is to blame or if it is a vanilla bug but when you have the Forge Master hero skill as a Giant King so you get 6 max infusions the item you craft becomes free and takes no turns to finish crafting.

- Increased the magic material cost for Inflict Ghostfire to 2 Archon Blood (from 1 Archon Blood)
- Prevented various item icons and upgrades from being generated as random loot rewards or as equipment for the AI. Mainly niche icons/upgrades.

Are you planning to add the sword & shield from the new DLC to the Item forge ? Or maybe a ranger crossbow&sword or bow&sword with that new sword design as well

@CinnamonWithAMonocle, I don't think my mod should cause any crashes, as I also test with no DLCs turned on. However, a few questions:

1. What DLCs do you own?
2. Are you using any other mods other than the 3 you listed?

Debugging steps:
1. Start a new game, use the cheat console and see if you can open and craft stuff in the forge. Ctrl+Alt+C to open the cheat console, enter in FORGEMASTER. This will tell you if Item Forge Deluxe is causing the crash.

2. Cheat console again, enter in RUIJTER to spawn all premade items. Open you inventory and see if you can view all the items. This will tell you if Wondrous Item Pack or Merchant Shops is causing the crash.

If you get any crashes, disable 1 mod at a time and retry the same steps.

Hi, I am using this mod, Wonderous Item Pack and Merchant Shops. At first I was able to craft items using item forge normally, but after some turns, around turn 40, maybe an item spawned in or sth but whenever I open the item forge now, I am starting to crash. Not sure if its due to mod conflicts. How do I recognize and identify the cause of the crash?

You can add new
ghost fire effect with fire and ice damage, as well as other effects related to the tome of calamity?

Active skills for dragon lords, he should be able to utilize the skills of other dragons after all

Update 6.0
- Added the Inflict Ghostfire upgrade for primary weapons.
- Added new lance skins for the Feudal and High lances

Thanks again @skaz88. Turns out the devs did add the Feudal and High lances to the item forge files, but they were intended to be Pantheon unlocks. Since they are not actually Pantheon unlocks, these lances never appeared.

Tiger Update
Just a quick compatibility update for the new Tiger update. In addition, changed the new pick weights for some of the upgrades so that they don't appear as often in random loot (melee mage, dragon lord upgrades in particular).

@Uthur, the mod will still work, as I have tested it on the Tiger open beta branch.

Regardless, I will have an update ready to go on release which will contain some minor visual bug fixes and some small content updates.

Update 4.0
New weapon skins
- Added the remaining Primal Fury staff skins: Mammoth, Sabertooth, Crocodile, Wolf, Spider, Snake
- One handed swords: Golden Golem and Inquisitor
- Shield: Iron Golem

New upgrades, tweaks
- Inflict Gilded for all weapons
- Bow: Distracting Shot
- Crossbows: Piercing
- Rings: Chaotic Rebuke
- Trinkets: Reverted After Battle Heal to its original variants. 1 point for +10 HP and 2 points for +20 HP.
- Fixed an issue where Inflict Electrified/Misfortune was not available for Eldritch Sovereign relics.
- Fixed an issue where Inflict Misfortune was incorrectly affecting Magic abilities in addition to base attacks. It should only affect base attacks now.
