If you fire a missiled weapon (Say an RPG, ATGM) but not a shell, it will explode the missile a few metres near the ADS placement. Its very useful for defense against helicopter barrages and fighter jet agms.

This thing work like a portable APS that often seen on tanks, defeat incoming projectile like rocket/missile but this work both ways it shot incoming enemy projectile and also yours too so be careful shooting rocket/missile around the area of this thing

not as far as i can tell. i tested it with my own grenades, rockets, vehicles and sat by them with enemies shooting them at me
