- Why would I ever want this? The Roman's fought 3 wars with the Seleucid's which saw Hannibal of Carthage finding refuge from exile in the Seleucid court of Antioch to fight the Romans again in his old age, only to once more face defeat. The Seleucid empire did not officially collapse until Pompey Magnums of Rome (rival and co-consul of Julius Caesar) found the now roman - vassal state of Seleucid too rebellious to govern and too independent thinking to be a "true friend of Rome" and so in 64 BCE concurred all of Syria while already campaigning in the East during his besieging of Jerusalem and was granted a triumph in Rome, I believe concurrent to Ceasar's triumph for the conquest of Gaul.
- If anything i want a stronger Seleucid opponent, there is a good MOD in which the hegemony of several major factions are rammed up, the Ptolemy's among them.
