Maybe once we get build forty two someone could make a actual wendigo mod

I think this mod is no longer working. I played for over an hour with it turned on and scavenged about half a dozen buildings and killed probably about 50 to 60 zombies and never had a single jump scare sound Play Even though normally I do pretty much all the time.

Then just to test it I disabled the mod and played again for about 20 minutes and I had the jump scare sound play about three times during that time. Then I turned it back on and I get no jump scare sounds anymore

when i use this i get no jumpscare sounds

Albeit that the process was very simple, brings me joy to see ya'll enjoy this. Thank you everyone who downloaded my mod!

@francox I am unsure if it is compatible with any other mod that changes the jumpscare sound. Typically if two mods do the same thing but with different outcomes: they are not compatible.

is this compatible with other mods that add (not replace) scare sounds?

@Carlos This doesn't add any zombies. This changes the sound the game makes when a zombie surprises you.

is the wendigo different from other zombies? also how often does it spawn in per world? i usually play fast stamblers and a 1 wendigo sprinter spawn late game would an an interesting little surprise for late game

Correct, just subscribe and enable in-game.

You don't need to do unnecessary manipulations with the mod to make it work?
