@紫色香堇菜, Shimmer transmutations don't update to accommodate for the weapon swap until you reload your mods.
Now that I say that, I think that means they won't update when using the 'Default' option in the 'Allow Remix Swaps' config setting.
To fix this, set the aforementioned setting to 'Always' when you want to use the swap (Or 'Never' when you don't), and then reload your mods to get the transmutations to match.

I can't really be bothered to mess with the Phantasmal Jewel recipes since those don't let you get any weapons earlier than they otherwise would, and considering the fact that the weapon swap is more of a novelty to make Don't Dig Up more interesting.

shimmer can get some progression swap weapon earlier in Don't Dig Up world,make progression break. And phantasmal jewel should used to craft thousandfold cutter and beam scepter in Don't Dig Up world instead halberd of heaven and astral harmony.

@CommoConner, that's an artifact of the Don't Dig Up/Remix weapon swap. Under normal circumstances the Goblin Warlock will drop the Shadowflame Whip, not Hellbinder.
Hellbinder is instead found in Shadow Chests (Or Obsidian Lock Boxes).

I'm doing a summoner playthrough and using recipe browser I see that goblin warlock drops the hellbinder whip, but I killed 50 of them and not a single one dropped the hellbinder, so I can't make the dusk's bite

@紫色香堇菜, looks like Jungle Crate & Obsidian Lock Box loot got broke by the Remix Weapon Swap updates. A fix will be out momentarily.

@SolaireTheDragon, thx for the feedback. Yeah the flamethrowers do tend to have REALLY good DPS (With the drawback being their reach), probably too good, as you've seen. Since there are only 2 flamethrowers in vanilla - both of which are mid-hardmode - I didn't really have a lot of good reference points for balancing. When I get the time I'll look into tweaking their stats some more.

specifically Jungle's Bane, Bone Singer, and Cursed Flamer are the flamethrowers I've used but all of them outperform vanilla weapons and non-flamers from Arsenal itself

On a somewhat related note, Final Fractal is balanced to have better single-target DPS than Zenith, hence its ability to inflict hits ridiculously fast. Zenith is easier to use, though, since its attacks have a larger hitbox and better, more intuitive screen-coverage.

@Cole, yup. It can actually inflict hits even faster than Zenith.

It uses local i-frames (allowing each projectile to hit simultaneously and independently from eachother) and only inflicts roughly 2 frames of invincibility (In theory this means a given projectile can inflict as many as 30+ hits per second if it were to remain in the target's hitbox), as opposed to the standard 10.

By comparision, Zenith also uses local i-frames, but inflicts about 7.5 frames of invincibility.

That said, Zenith's projectiles have a much larger hitbox than Final Fractal's, so it's easier to land hits with the former, and the latter generally won't hit nearly as fast as the theoretical 30 hits per second (per projectile).

Good idea for an addition, since the wide 'droughts' of weapon progression in certain classes & weapon types was always a complaint about the vanilla weapon selection.

Ohhhhh ok! Maybe Bone Singer could inflict bleed too, or it could inflict both on fire and hellfire?

@Fusedneb, Waterflame's flames splash/grow upon hitting tiles, and it doesn't inflict a debuff like other flamethrowers.
Bone Singer is essentially just a reskin of Hades's Inferno (and vice versa), as I couldn't really think of anything interesting to do with em.

Side note I cannot find a difference between the bone singer and water flame on ddu, their stats are almost the same asides from the waterflame having 2 damage higher

i had thought of a torchgod one thats just a big torch lol, i was tempted on making textures kinda pased on those images of sticks that look like weapons.

@Fusedneb, the Gale Windblade & Frostbite completley slipped my mind, especially the former since its a vanilla weapon receiving the swap. I'll add remix adjustments for them when I get the chance.

I wasn't planning on adding any more content to the mod. 400 items is already a ton, I don't want to overload the mod with bloat content and would rather save further weapon ideas for other potential projects in the future.

I feel like having the first flamethrower behind King Slime makes sense because in the earlygame you have no good way to grind gel aside from the King. It fits that he should gatekeep earlygame flamethrowers since one way or another you're probably gonna end up fighting him alot to make constant use of flamethrowers.
Also the Gel Flamer was the only idea I could come up with for an earlygame flamethrower so yeah...

Hey Im on my third playthrough of ddu and have noticed 2 of the swapped weapons that are used in recipes but dont buff the crafted weapon
Katana > Gale Windblade
Hades Inferno > FrostBite

also I would like to request a preboss flamethrower and maybe even torchgod stuff for the other classes? I might work up some concepts :D

@TotoMomazosxd, the mod should be play-able in multiplayer - I've done so before - it's just that some weapons may visually de-sync. This is just a content mod, its additions shouldn't be capable of outright breaking multiplayer.

@LambSauce/ラムソース, I re-tested them myself just now and tbh I don't really see what you mean...

Ichor Darts can out-perform them in single-target damage, and both Cursed and Crystal out-class them at multi-target/crowd control.
From my experience the vanilla darts remain the best available even despite all the new types added in this mod.

That said, the potency of a given dart type is influenced by the weapon you use. For example, the Chlorophyte Darts do perform particularly well when paired with the Assassin's Blowgun thanks to the Blowgun's super high base damage (It's actually one of my favorite dart weapons for this reason).

It could also be a bug, though. Are the spore clouds hitting extremely fast? I've had issues in the past where the Chlorophyte weapons' spore clouds ignored i-frames.

@RenjiroHusky, yeah, you should be able to summon multiple like other minions. I assume you have multiple unoccupied summon slots? They should only require one each. I've never had that happen before so I'm not sure what could be wrong...

@Hrshy, looks like I accidentally made the Don't Dig Up loot pool for Jungle Crates be enabled even when you don't have the weapon swap enabled. I'll update the mod with a fix now.

I received Totem Staff from a pre hardmode Jungle crate. I noticed the description states this item is supposed to be a shop-only post Plantera item. Not sure if this is a bug or not. I'm not running any fishing mods or anything to change drops.

@Fusedneb, just fixed Hades Inferno still spawning in Shadow Chests in DDU. I forgot to add in the swap when I was doing the other chest loot changes :p
There are weapons that can be shimmered, yes. Hopefully the transmutations are properly swapped when using the Weapon Swap... I'm pretty sure I got them all?

Some bugs i found with the Arsenal Update. The chest based loot is bugged on ddu so the hades inferno is available prehardmode. Your Shimmer QOL mod allows for shimmering certain weapons (Ive only noticed this in magic storage though so its probably that)

Blockchain is dropped alongside my 'dev' set, which very rarely drops from hardmode boss's (excluding Queen Slime) Treasure Bags, like the Re-Logic Dev Sets

Candy Cane Bow is dropped by Elf Archers from Frost Moon

Mechanized Bow is sometimes sold by the Goblin Tinkerer (depends on moon phase)

Terra Bow is crafted, use a mod like Recipe Browser for the crafting tree.

Hey, I was planning on giving my full feedback for Arsenal and Artificer's Accessories once I finished my current playthrough and I still plan to, but since I'm not quite ready to give my input yet, I just wanted to say that both mods are gamechanging, and I think they'll remain a staple in my modlists from now on.

I was wondering if you'd consider adding support for Verveine's flail rework mod- aaand I just noticed the comment not too far before mine asking for the same thing alongside your response; that is unfortunate. I'd love to use the solar flail with it, but it's understandable if it'd be too much of a hassle.

@HzrdBeat, no, each class only gets one Zenith/Terra-line of weapons for consistency. The bow, Omega, fulfills that role for Rangers.
