Hi, any thoughts on a 1.6 update?
I Jun 6 @ 1:39am
There's a typo in your description. Also, I would instead recommend of plus 10s for the first like week.
VitaKaninen Mar 7 @ 8:11am
That works, thanks!

@VitaKaninen Enable god mode by clicking the rightmost icon on dev bar, there will be a minus-plus button appears on pawn's joy need gauge, so you can adjust it.
Besides, was it the mood that stuck, not joy need? The mood didn't stuck on my side.
VitaKaninen Mar 7 @ 7:53am
How can I do that? The actual mood level will not change when adding more joy sources, since the level is stuck.
Cedaro  [author] Mar 7 @ 7:28am
@VitaKaninen Yes you're right. I reinspect my code, the joy need is indeed frozen.
But hey, you know dev mode. For the original question, you can simply use dev mode to lift the problematic pawn's joy, so it can freeze at a high level.
I'm not gonna update this mod according to this, since I think it's a quite infrequent issue.
VitaKaninen Mar 7 @ 7:12am
The mood is stuck. I can use dev mode to add catharsis 3x times, but the mood will not increase at all. Allowing them to recreate or have more joy does not help the mood the change.

If I remove the mod and reload, the mood instantly jumps back up to where it should be.
Cedaro  [author] Mar 7 @ 6:52am
@VitaKaninen What this mod only did is to freeze the natural decrease of joy need for a certain time, not to stop its changing or prevent pawn from doing recreation job...

Just, let the neurotic pawn to have some joy time? If his mood is *stuck*, that might be some sort of bug outside the scope of this mod.
VitaKaninen Mar 7 @ 6:31am
When I start a new game with a Very Neurotic pawn on very difficulty settings, their mood is stuck at 28%, and I can't move it, which causes constant mood breaks.

This seems like the opposite effect that the mod is trying to accomplish. Is there a way to have their mood frozen at a higher level?

@Cedaro

Heya! I wanted to ask if you could remove `Preview.sai2` from the mod's package? The file is 36.4MB. Without it, the entire mod's size drops from 36.6MB to just 200KB.

Thank fuck for this mod. I hated micromanaging at the start of a new colony. All the fucking cloud watching
Lobanych Nov 14, 2023 @ 12:09pm
@lol This mod prevents your pawns from spitting into the clouds instead of working. It's just freezing their Joy Stat for the first three game days
lol Nov 10, 2023 @ 4:05am
But isn't there is already a thought bonus for the first days

I just saw someone say that simple mods often have the best changes and this mods supports that idea.

Good idea vanilla plus like
NotTildaSwinton Oct 12, 2023 @ 3:01pm
I also love it, and also would like to ask if you'd consider putting in a couple settings, like
- A setting to let people toggle the joy from "paused" to "decreases very slowly" (ideally let us change the rate?)
- A setting to let us change how long before it goes back to normal

either way, thank you very much for making this
SanguinarcAQL Oct 11, 2023 @ 9:38am

It would be cool if instead of just freezing it, it would just slow it and also give a boost to global work speed
