Great map. This gave me intense moments unlike any mod and the actual ability to make a zombies game mode in a Call of Duty feel like a indie game is incredible. Thank you for making this map

Pretty cool map. I like the spooks. I wish the arrow hitbox for the screaming monster was bigger since i died a bunch of times since my arrow wen straight through it. The ending felt very anticlimactic too. Overall very spooky.

This is one of the best custom zombies maps I've ever played, you guys did a really good job on the atmosphere of the map and the overall design. I was able to beat it after a couple tries and was very spooked throughout the entire experience. I just want to make one suggestion, can you take out the scary ghosts that kill you. They made me and my friend really scared and gave him a tummy ache :(

If it wasn't for the face and the bad sprinting mechanic, this map would be amazing and I would praise it much more. It is a very unique concept, which I really appreciate. The PS2 style graphics are interesting and perfect the ambience of the map, the map is fleshed out and detailed. If it wasn't for the faces and the sprint I would genuinely love this map. Ignoring the issues noted above, it is really well coded elsewhere, looks fantastic, has a creepy horror ambience, is a really unique and interesting concept and the idea is really good. I could hardly believe we were still playing zombies, it felt like an entirely different game! It made a really good first impression, I was really disappointed when the faces showed up and I found out the sprint was bad.

The map is amazing aesthetically and in terms of game mechanics. It would be a masterpiece apart from a few things. 1. The face monster is too fast whilst on the other hand the player's sprinting is kinda bad. As soon as your sprint runs out, you are done for. 2. If you press the shift button to sprint, it has to entirely deplete and then slowly rebuild again before you can sprint. Even if you press it then stand entirely still, it depletes. This makes escaping the face without a crossbow impossible no matter what. If you see it, you are dead. 3. I think its unfair that the faces can attack during gauntlets to get ammunition. the fact that you are fighting for ammo implies you have no ammo to kill the faces. And it only gives you two crossbow bolts, which goes very quickly. 4. I am not sure if it is intended or not, but not all the players spawn with crossbows.

Managed to complete the map with two more buddies, so in total 3 players. While one searches for the torches, the other two keep respawning each other since the chances of successfully finding all torches before getting fucked in a big map like this are really close to 0. The fog really makes it difficult to see where you're going and remembering this map is not something that has to be done in order to complete it.

I didn't play the map in SP but I believe it's near impossible to complete even if the spawns are not as frequent. Besides the gameplay the map is very cool, really liked the style and the visuals of the enemies themselves.

easily one of the most unique maps on the workshop, i really appreciate the atmosphere and the concept

i think the map doesn't need to be as big as it is, it leads to a lot of pointless wandering about when you might not exactly be sure which way you're even supposed to be going

really fun experience though, i'd love to see this concept and style again, whether that's in a more traditional map or in something similar to this

it's just about piecing the map together in your head. it was my decision to do RNG torches, give only one player a crossbow and tight visibility. multiple playthroughs are what it's about, and players splitting up is supposed to be the risky move.

once you learn the behavior of the ghouls, this can be used to your advantage -- it wouldn't be "scary" if getting rid of a ghoul was easy. with multiple players, you have the advantage of covering a lot of ground at once, so four players with map knowledge can clear the map in less than 7 minutes. aside from possibly giving players some extra tools to find the torches, (a valid point! i'll be doing something about it in an update) i firmly believe this is the ideal experience for fun, fear, and difficulty factors. loss is intentional, and that's why a restart button is served to you on loss.

i appreciate the feedback, but i don't understand why you pinned Hitman for having an ego when i was the one who designed the gameplay loop.

Extremely unbalanced with 3 players, since 1 player spawns with a bow and only 3 arrows, you've effectively got to hit 100% of the shots (which is pretty difficult), you also need get good RNG to get the fires in the optimal places otherwise you effectively just run out of time before the next face spawns in.

I think Hitman is completely wrong, it is very, very hard. I wouldn't call it impossible although whats the point of making a map that has extremely hard elements with a reliance on RNG to get the fires. I understand that Himan may have a big ego and want the map to be unreasonably hard because its "authentic" although after attemping to beat it with 3 players about 30 times, with a custom strat and map designed for our run, we never successfully beat the map.
