I lvoe the changes to this version of the mod. I played the previous and while guardian was my favorite it was hard to keep up with my other players. Great good on this up and if more are the come for the others i cant wait... i don't want to... but... i can... for now.

fun mod! if anyone else is having issues with this mod or others removing the "discard hand" and "reset deck" button, down load the hermit mod, the mod you wanna fix, save the mod you wanna fix, load the hermit mod, copy the scripts on the hermits board, past them onto the moded char, (i replaced the name with the modded chars name, i am unsure if this matters) and then replace it in the spot it came out of, and bam! it should work

The Spiker Protocol power I believe is miswritten, as it says you lose the thorns from it at the end of the turn, when you're supposed to lose it at the start of the turn. If you lost it at the end of the turn, it would be effectively useless.

when u get the gem from the rewards, do u keep it in the reward or remove it?

well, i still hope that youll get inspiration from any modded characters to continue on! i still hope to see either the champ or gremlins at some point in time being! champ might be sort of easiest for you though, continue to make wonderful projects like these friend!

@stormy I believe bcsj (who created the homebrew character loader) has some card templates. I personally just create my own cards as I like to have the freedom but you could ask him about that.

is there a possible way on supporting making new characters to play at all? i have a few ideas that might work well with the board game and modded characters

Yeah I tried to have it be less cluttered via separate rules, with Stasis being able to be put in a PDF. I do think most effects need to be on the board itself like how the Mode Shift works. I might release a version with the less cluttered version with the extra rules in a PDF, so players can chose which one they prefer. Not sure what you mean with the separate strip of the value of Thorns, as having Thorns work like that sounds a bit strange. Do you mean the Mode Shift Gauge? As I can see that working with fitting that between the block and HP gauges.

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking for with the Stasis cards but if a card says to put a card in stasis but you have no other cards in hand, the effect does nothing, but you're still able to activate the secondary effect (like with curl up). Other cards might say "put a card into stasis to activate X effect", with this effect it is required to put a card into stasis for the secondary effect to, well, take effect.

For the second question of the character I will tackle next, I'm currently not planning a character for now, the collector sounds like the most fun but I'll not do that until that character is out of beta in case they make any major changes to it.

I would advise you to transfer all the rules to a PDF page, as in the mod for Marisa or in my mod for Desciples, so that the character's tablet would not be so visually cluttered. Well, I also think that it would be possible to make a separate strip of the value of Thorns, between the strips of the value of Block and HP

i do have another question, do you need a stasis card to put a card in stasis or do it anytime

You can only use gems via activating them via card effects. They're completely useless if you don't have a card that can utilise them. Your starting Twin Slam can activate the same gem twice (as normally you can't activate a gem twice in a single turn).

Thanks for checking them out, let me know if you find any broken/underpowered cards when playtesting! Always happy to reevaluate cards and see if I can think of a way to make them more balanced
