I deleted a promo I didn't want anymore and now the custom promos tab in game isn't showing up anymore. Is anyone else having this issue, and if so how do I fix it?

Wasn't working for me until I realized I must actually put 0 in the taunt box, now it actually shows up ingame. Probably a few people ran into the the same issue.

yea i couldn't find the custom scripts and i figured out it was because i didn't have a taunt set for one of the pages lmao, soon as i set to 0 or any of the taunts it shows up no problem.

Yes, all my other mods are working correctly. In fact I have successfully highly customized my universe. I believe I am creating the promos correctly per the instructions, and I am def putting the .promo in the right place, but I don't see it in the list in the script menu.

Do you have WECCL from the workshop?

Maybe I am overlooking something obvious, but I created my .promo, put it in my assets folder, and I can not seem to find it in the game. I am looking under scripts. Am I not looking in the right spot?

I was able to use the belt and champion commands TWICE in the cream promo! I was pretty excited about that when I saw it all working correctly.

Yeah if I recall correctly, unfortunately you can't include wrestlers in a promo unless they are at the ring at that moment. And the name checkbox will make the promo about that specific person.

I'm currently trying to do a promo where one wrestler1 comes out, talks, refers to wrestler2, who then comes out using the secret character thing, but unfortunately I can't seem to get wrestler1 to refer to wrestler2 by name unless they are both in the ring.

Wrestler2 doesn't have to be specific. But if I use the name checkbox from what I gather I'd have to make the promo about a specific person, correct?

I added new promo option to the tool: wrestler career probability. It will set the probability of this custom promo happening in wrestler career mode. Regarding the names, it lets you bypass some of the speaker limitations. Like using it to have any number of speakers, or to have wrestler managers have speaking lines

This mod is bloody amazing by the way, It's mostly straightforward, sometimes difficult keeping track of everyone's ID number. I like to drag a specific announcer to ringside rather than use a random one, and I think that offsets the wrestlers ID numbers, but that's easy to figure out.

What does the use names checkbox do exactly? Like it says I can use the names instead of the ID but, how and why and what circumstance would I use that feature? I am not coming up with a lot of clarification in the documentation or on google.

Also is there a way to refer to what the character is holding like in the default promo where they're selling n object?

I sent a comment asking for help but I now realize the problem. To anybody having issues, check the console on wrestling empire, for me it was me using an incorrect taunt command

@EMPTEE001 [JoinUsInVR] since custom promos are handles by WECCL you can just upload them to the Steam Workshop the same way you would upload a custom texture or a theme song.

Oh Hey! Its a great mod wondering if there is any chance of make a library of some kind for promos. It would be cool if it turned into a community thing.

@EMPTEE001 [JoinUsInVR] .promo files can be shared with others. You need to have WECCL mod downloaded, then you can put .promo files in Wrestling Empire\BepInEx\plugins\Manual\Assets folder

Pretty much that. The update removed some folders and have to be made again for it to work.

it was after the update all mods stopped working yesterday for alot of people, a simple fix was just adding a folder called plugins again, somehow the update removed it or something. works fine now

@RozayPrime23 This promo generator is a completely separate tool independant from the game. If something broke, it's not on my end because I haven't touched it.

Love this mod, has stopped working ever since the new update tho :(
