@Sassafier There isn't any tutorials on this that i'm aware of. You should look to this mod's files to understand it and copy either the whole thing or relevant files to multi-species logic to a local mod to edit them to include your new species.

Or you could code your own prescripted empire and add it with a hidden event. You can look into how it is done with Polar Bears in Empire of Frost prescripted empire in this mod, as that's a species currently only spawn for them and not other prescripteds or user generated empires.

@MustaphaTR I'm not sure how to structure one that spawns an extra species and I'm not sure if I'd find a tutorial for it. Would you mind walking me through the basics of what I'd need to do so I have a better idea, or, if a relevant tutorial exists, send me the link to said tutorial?

@Sassafier You'll need to make your own submod, editing relevant code spawning the extra species, but shouldn't be hard to do if you know some modding.

I have been thinking of adding Diamond Dogs to this mod as well at some point, but haven't gotten around yet. Working on Crystal Ponies at the moment.

It goes that eventually, the humans in the Expedition suddenly contracted an illness that only targeted humans and they died out. The NCR then closed off the portal for good to prevent the infection from spreading to their world. But, there were a good bit of intelligent and evolved Deathclaws left behind who continued to live on Faust. I plan to use them as a secondary species, but I didn't want them to be serviles, so, I plan to give my Faustian empire a modded origin called Codominant Evolution that gives a secondary species that aren't serviles, it comes from this mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3502411629 I am hoping that using the setup event and the Codominant Evolution origin will allow me to use all the species in this mod and the Deathclaws as an extra species. Will this work?

I'm planning to do something and I want you to tell me if it'll work. I'm planning to play an Empire on Faust with the setup event that gives the empire all the species in the mod, but I'm planning to add an additional species. I couldn't find any portrait mods for mlp species that are absent from this mod like Diamond Dogs or Abyssinians. But, I did find a species mod with one of the species included being Deathclaws: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3430757098 The lore is that this takes place in the same world as Equestria at War and my playthrough for that includes the Fallout-themed April Fool's content nation: The New Californian Expedition. @Oliver No, there isn't unfortunately. Just Gabby starts with it in The Crusader State prescripted country. If what i did with Scootaloo's Cyborg trait in the last update sets a precedent tho, i might add more stuff. It is currently the only custom country content that isn't related to starting setup.

Is there any content relating to the maar's chosen trait, given the new update, just curious as I've seen it when searching traits ingame. Would also like to know if there's any content with it to begin with, as I dont usually get far in my playthroughs before getting an idea for a new one.

I'm so glad you're continuing to develop your mod! However, I'd like to ask you to add a variation of Luna's portraits from Season 1, before she had her flowing mane and tail. Please, if you have the time, desire, and opportunity, add this Luna so that we can play as the TRUE NLR (New Lunar Republic).

@星尘荧荧StGl Localisation files exists, but it is in English, so if you open the game in Chinese you'll see English text instead of codenames at least. I would be happy to have some help with the translation.

Sounds like you created it by editing Convocation of Creatures. Do not do that, create it from stract with the Custom Empire button. The prescripted countries have extra code running at the start, including replacing the auto-generated leaders with new ones with some extra data which would cause this.

So far a temporary fix I use is starting elections via cheats, however it does get tedious after a few runs.

I made a custom pony empire with Celestia as the ruler, but whenever I start a game she's no longer the ruler and demoted to leader, and displays Dusk Shine as the leader instead.

Hep Mr.Wizard... the portraits for the species are wonky.. the main body is gone but other parts are still there, for instance the ponies hair/mane, the beak from the griffon, etc. I tried putting it on the top & bottom of the load order, I have no idea what's going on or where to start problem solving.

I had them set at guaranteed and even uncovered the whole map to be sure, it changed the portraits and everything, but I am certain a phantom instance of an out of date mod was stuck in my list because after I verified my files and cleared my launcher cache it worked perfectly fine. Thanks for your help troubleshooting regardless.

@Spärde Another problem could be that Faust just didn't spawn if you didn't set to Guaranteed on the setup GUI. By default it has 60% chance to spawn iirc and the event only appears if Faust has spawned.

Verifying seems to have fixed it. I started a new save as a test and got the event after unpausing.

@Späde Were you playing as an empire with Faust or Behemmoth starting system. Giga's Faust won't spawn if that's the case, regardless of what you chose at the setup GUI of Giga's. And compability event only appears if Giga's Faust has spawned and after you unpause the game since Faust only spawns after setup GUI is closed.

Strange the compatability event wasn't firing automatically for me with only this and gigastrictures loaded on their own modlist.
I found it in the files and it worked as intended when forced through the console. I wonder if I should verify my files.

@♤ |_Pandora_| ♤ I'll add Alicorn Twilight to my list of ponies to add, for when i add more portraits. I have other mods and uni work to work on, so it may take a while. Other than that it is not actually a hard work, if i'm fully free i can do two portrait sets in a day.

I'll look into the Yaks tomorrow, tho it was working fine for me when i was playing as Faustian Conglomerate today after i released the update. Unless you miswrote and female ones are broken, because all i got in that game were male.

Hello. Comrade, could you please add a portrait of Twilight Sparkle as an alicorn? I understand that this requires a lot of work. But you will probably succeed. However - could you also explain - how did you create the event for Dusk Shine spawn at the beginning of the game, please? I tried to work with your mod, trying to change the portrait of the leader in the event, but I could not get closer to solving the problem.

@Dragon of Desire Ponies should be already not spawning normally (unless you got a user defined country that is set to spawn), unless the portrait definition changes from last major update changed something that i didn't notice. I haven't played in a while.

@Dragon of Desire I think you are referring to the easter egg Pre-FTL (which can turn to a proper empire) in Giga, which, no this mod do not override. As i always play as ponies and as such disable them, i never thought of modifying them. I don't think i can override them simply with this mod, although i could make a submod that requires both mods that does this.

Excuse me, but if I get this mod, does it overwrite the portraits for the Equinian species from Gigastructures? It's very obviously MLP ponies and I'd like the portraits to indicate such.

The reason I was fairly certain that it was from this mod is because I didn't have the EaW emblems mod at the time(which I will now rectify), and it was in the Zebrica category where the Scientifid logo is.

@Nexus of Concordia Nope, this mod never had a Kirin flag. I got a seperate flag mod with over 400 flag icons from EaW tho, maybe that's what you are thinking. This mod only has a fraction of them (two are complatible tho, enabling both won't create duplicates).

I have never removed any flags from that mod either, but it might've gotten moved from one folder (they are ordered alphabetically by tag, something being added behind can move the rest) to other at some point, which may break an existing country that used it. PDX really needs to add a scroll bar to that area so i'm not limited to 30 per page.

Did an earlier version of this mod have a flag emblem for Kirins that got removed at some point?
I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out what mod is causing shader errors(not saying it's this mod), and when I verified files, an empire that I gave that emblem to suddenly had a blank flag.

That probably is it. I'm relatively new to Stellaris and just getting back into it, so I don't really have any dlcs for it (Yet lol).
