Is there a way to specifically tie radiation to a single place? I'm using a nuclear reactor mod and I want radiation to only be there and not to be spilled out into the rest of the county.

Like @Elder said, compatibility with Susceptible mod with be a dream come true
Alktimel Jul 16 @ 2:24am
You can not customize zones on dedicated servers with this mod since client and server data would be different if you just edit the text file..

hey i wanna ask what locations are irradiated? cus i died and didnt know what killed me?
MOBu Jul 8 @ 11:40am
Hi! I’d like to ask if you’d allow me to expand this mod and tweak some of its settings, as well as the translations. I really like what you’ve created, but I’d love to make a few adjustments. If you're okay with that, I’d really appreciate it. Of course, you’ll be fully credited. Cheers!

The mod works great, thank you so much! However, I have a question... what exactly is the "Dosi meter" item used for?

@Atophite could you make compatibility with susceptible mod? with yours and theirs installed there are two facemask (bandana) options, and it doesnt function clean.

your and theirs are great mods that pair really well together

So my first comment was removing radiation zones server side. custom zones do not work if you edit the same file. Reason is that each client would need similar coordinates in their copy of the mod as well.

for dedicated servers, youre only real option, if this mod creator doesn't want you re uploading the mod privately with the custom coords, would be to make a patch file that overrides the coordinates .txt file. so that every client has matching coordinates as the server file

@Rick Grimes all I did, as per some of the guides (which seem to be for single player). I just went into my PZserver folder, C:\pzserver\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\3019024205\mods\RadiatedZones\media

and deleted the contents of the coordinates.txt file.

I am going to test out further but a known rad zone is no longer detecting radiation so it seems to work that way. Then you can follow the guide in that same, coordinates.txt file to assign your own custom areas.

how do I not specify a zone on my dedicated server? My radiation zone does not work. Could there be a conflict with Zombie Zone?

Hi there! My friends and I have been loving (suffering) with your mod, it adds such an interesting mechanic! Thanks for the great work! I have a couple questions tho, if you're kind enough to reply.
- Is there a chance to make Brita's armour pack hazmat suits compatible with your mod? (please?)
- is there a chance to make bandits from the bandit mod struggle with the radiation too? Would be great!
Lucasif Feb 15 @ 7:40pm
Any chance this is scheduled to be updated to B42?
Ant Feb 7 @ 10:07am
Please make this mod for B42, I miss it.
kofi Jan 2 @ 6:08pm
Hey there! I've wanted to ask if it is safe to install on an already existing host coop game, thanks in advance!
Kacpix Dec 20, 2024 @ 7:47am
does it work for workshop maps?
UburGeek Dec 16, 2024 @ 8:37pm
Thats great, many thanks.
Atophite  [author] Dec 16, 2024 @ 12:09pm
@UburGeek Hey, I updated the mod and removed the print. Let me know if it doesn't work for some reason.
Atophite  [author] Dec 16, 2024 @ 11:57am
@UburGeek Oh yeah, I forgot about that :P
UburGeek Dec 15, 2024 @ 9:17pm
Won't that invalidate the mod signing which would prevent others joining the server?
indeepj Dec 15, 2024 @ 4:15pm
i see, very good to know
Atophite  [author] Dec 15, 2024 @ 9:04am
@indeepj Unfortunately no. The radiated zones are for now static.
Atophite  [author] Dec 15, 2024 @ 9:03am
@UburGeek Hi, I wasn't aware of that, thanks I will fix that. If I'm correct you can remove the line by yourself temporarily if you edit the file.
UburGeek Dec 15, 2024 @ 8:36am
Could you consider removing print("Getting server command") from the AtosClientCommand.lua file? In debug mode, it creates a wall of spam that drowns out all other messages
indeepj Dec 10, 2024 @ 3:00pm
is 'cleanup' a thing? like. cleaning radioactive areas to be less radioactive, or even no longer radioactive
Atophite  [author] Dec 10, 2024 @ 10:23am
@TechSpartan Thanks for the suggestion! Whenever B42 is out, I will work on the mod again and I will take a look at that.
Dreamy_Abyss Dec 9, 2024 @ 8:28pm
Would it be possible to get this to work with zone api and get it to work that way for zones? having to find points is tedious imo not that I won't do it but just as a suggestion. Thank you!
Akadai Dec 8, 2024 @ 5:23pm
It has no holes, I did check that. I actually tried to recreate what had happened and failed to. So I have no idea what was causing damage to me. I'm still trying to recreate what happened. I'll report back on that if I find something
Nightboss00 Dec 8, 2024 @ 1:29pm
Good morning and sorry if I'm a bother but, If you have any ideas on how to fix my issue please let me know!
Atophite  [author] Dec 8, 2024 @ 5:16am
@Akadai The batteries disappearing is actually not intended. Hopefully I can fix that soon, thanks for reporting.
Atophite  [author] Dec 8, 2024 @ 5:12am
@Akadai did you check if the hazmat suit has a hole in it?
Atophite  [author] Dec 8, 2024 @ 5:11am
@solarchos I believe it's every 10 seconds. I know it can be kinda annoying but I don't want the mod go through all the coordinates and see if there is a player inside every second.
solarchos Dec 7, 2024 @ 9:43pm
Update on my previous post - I've noticed that while the geiger counter is on, it can take at least several seconds for it to stop registering that you're in a previously-detected radiation zone and START saying that you've left it...which can be really confusing when you're driving in a car and trying to mark on your map where the edge of the zone is.
Nightboss00 Dec 7, 2024 @ 1:13pm
I looked through the console some more still nothing sadly.
noob get rekt Dec 7, 2024 @ 3:22am
how to cure with admin?
Akadai Dec 6, 2024 @ 5:21pm
I was taking quite a bit of health damage while wearing the hazmat suit going through the military camp and I don't know why. My rad rating was only 139 (also had pills going). I left the area and then I stopped taking damage. I wasn't over encumbered or anything. Is there a reason I was taking damage that I'm missing? Does that just happen if you stay too long, even if rads is low?
solarchos Dec 6, 2024 @ 10:35am
Also, Muldraugh, Rosewood, Riverside, and West Point may be relatively safe, but Louisville is like Ground Zero!
solarchos Dec 6, 2024 @ 10:16am
I'd recommend having a "radiation detected" moodle appear when you enter a rad field, or some other kind of ongoing visual prompt. Because in my own game I've noticed that even if you have a geiger counter on you and activated, it doesn't always show the message that it's detecting radiation.
Akadai Dec 5, 2024 @ 8:11pm
Started to use this mod due to Nuclear Future mod requiring it. I noticed a small bug with the Geiger Teller (unless this is intended?). If the batteries are completely drained, the teller will just eat them. Like all other devices in the game, you 'should' be able to get the drained batteries back. This is especially nice when you have ways to recharge those batteries. You 'can' retrieve all 4 of them if they aren't completely drained. So I think it's kinda silly (and unrealistic) they get deleted if they become 100% drained.

The "Remove Batteries" option just disappears at that point, and adding 4 new batteries does not give the old ones back

Hello again! If you have any ideas om how to fix my issue please let me know!
Nightboss00 Dec 4, 2024 @ 1:36pm
Hello! @Atophite im looking at it now and I'm actually not seeing anything about coordinates or the mod at all in the command console.
Atophite  [author] Dec 4, 2024 @ 11:19am
Hi @Nightboss00 what does your console output say when you are in singleplayer. Make sure you put debug mode on. It will output in the console what coordinates it's loading. I just tested it with an empty coordinates.txt and it will not output any coordinates in the console.
Nightboss00 Dec 3, 2024 @ 4:15pm
sorry again for the frequent questions me and my buddies really want this to work out.
