Throws an error with Medieval 2 expanded, Mechs are assigned WorkGivers like apiaries, which causes crashes with mods that assume humans only.

@MUSCLEDADCOCONUTOILWRESTLING.CO - That answers my question of whether or not the hunter mech can fish I guess. TBF though, I don't think this mech should be capable of fishing. One would need a fishing mech for that :P

They can do handling, so yes. That's not a new behavior from boomalopes.

Wonderful mod, i like that we have an animal themed mechanoid but would it be possible to make it also capable of Training and Taming animals as well?
Im using Vanila Mechs expanded, Alpha Mechs, Reinforced Mechanoids 2 and Advanced Mechanoids and NONE of them have an animal based mechanoid. Your seems the only mod that remotely touches them

Dude, you're a lifesaver. I have a colony of violence disabled pawns and I couldn't find any solution to my problem of them not being able to slaughter. Weird this isn't part of the game.

Interesting ideas, a butcher mechanoid and proper animal mech would be nice but I dont have plans to look into creating that for now. If I were to do a melee mechanoid, instead of creating a new one I would look into somehow offering a simple shield as an upgrade to Scythers.

I also like Vanners idea. Maybe you could combine it with my idea: Animal Husbandry Mechanoid. Would be similar to a "Butcher". Has Animal skill and melee combat. Raises animals, butchers them, maybe also some chemfuel crafting. Raise animal -> Butcher -> Meat -> Chemfuel, the cycle of a Mechanoids life. Might take a few jobs away from Fabricator. But the priority of work would be Animal > Cook (only butcher) > Craft

hYPERYON, could you make a melee knight mechanoid? A more advanced option for melee mechanoids, that use a shield and can be built in different variations with different melee weapons? I think mechanoids lack in The melee departament specialy at high mechtech and higher

I found a bug. You say that the bot won't be able to harvest animal products, but it seems that when the bot encounters an animal product that isn't a conventional one, it'll try to harvest it and get both it and the animal stuck in a loop.

To expand upon this, it seems that this means there's a conflict between this mod and Alpha Animals, as I saw my hunter bot try to harvest a chunk from my bouldermit over and over. The animal product that comes from bouldermits don't count as milk or wool, so the bot might see as something it can do

It can take animals to pens, but can it tend/tame and look after animals?
Im using Reinforced mechanoids and none of them offer animal based mechanoid.

As a solo mechanitor im not in need of a hunter but iv got hands on few animals and now they are taking most of his time. Having a caretaker would be nice but so far i dont think anyone has made one yet

I had a needle rifle pop up as a quest reward - intended for them to be in the human-usable item pool? (Of course, since I'm running about 400 mods at the moment it may just be an incompatibility thing.)

I'd suggest redoing the tags and listed requirements to run this mod. It sounds like it needs elements from the relatively new Biotech official DLC.

@Kalmin Unfortunately not, just moving them to pens and slaughtering them is the extend of the hunter's abilities.
