when i use this mod i can't really choose any option of diplomacy, can't control my subjects or anything, idk what to do, is this a bug? it only happens when i enable the mod

I recently used this mod and it can still significantly improve productivity. I played till the end of the game quite smoothy. However, it strongly weakens AI. E.g. I played 2 games for the same country with and without this mod where I tried to create an agriculture empire. I entered the French market in both cases. The coal production with mod was 1800 tons in 1885, whereas it was 12k tons without any mods. Additionally, AI could not supply efficiently itself with military goods, therefore I had first time to build ammunition factories to sustain my skirmish infantry.

The mod was last updated for 1.5. It may have worked better earlier, I cannot tell something about it.

So, if you do not care about the sustainability of the Great powers, you can use the mod. Game works well, but seems to be unfair to AI countries.

So I was playing Britain, at the beginning there are 2k+ urbanization points in London area, but the level of urban center there is still 0, and same thing also applies to other countries.

pls fix this issue.

bro, good mod tho, but recently I just found a critical bug from it.

@Capitalista, como se já não tivesse ruim o suficiente a Paradox piorou o desempenho na última atualização. Mesmo com qualquer mod de dempenho já não é mais a mesma coisa

Na verdade era problema com outro mod mesmo, tentei a outra versão e funcionou direitinho. Com essa atualização nova tá impossível de jogar, mesmo com o mod o jogo fica muito lento.

@PowerDragonDK thanks for your feedback. I updated the mod to bring back the base construction value. So, you shouldn't run into those deficit problems from construction sectors anymore.

denmark is literally impossible to play i mean u only have 2 construction sectors while also in deficit so u cant make more sectors and by the time u build one agricultural based building ur neighbors are already far ahead in terms of everything

Ei, eu só jogo com seu mod porque no meu PC um campanha que leva 3 horas leva tipo 9, então já agradeço por ter criado ele.
Agora oq eu quero falar é que ele parece não funcionar no beta vanilla, mas ele funciona em um mod alternativo chamado Basileia Romaion. Se pretender manter o mod atualizado e funcional isso pode ajudar (espero).

I just wanna give a heads up if you are planning on making it compatible with the open beta (currently 1.5.2). The mod seems to delete urban centers in the beta for every country even the player controlled one.

Thank you for the compatibility patch! The ai however still doesn't build any "research and engineering" buildings, therefore making it so that universities get no input goods and produce no innovation.

And one more thing: it looks like 'Hearts of Appalachia' messes with the way the game shows info about countries, like their GDP. From what I can tell, your mod's showing the real GDP, while mine's using a simulated number. That's probably where the weirdness is coming from.

Apologies for the delay in my response, I've been busy with the transition from elementary to middle school. Regarding the compatibility with other mods, I've downloaded 'Hearts of Appalachia' and indeed noticed some overlapping files in the 'buildings' and 'building_groups' directories. In my mod, these serve to make hiring immediate in any building, reducing the number of buildings in the hiring state. Another function is to discourage AI from over-constructing certain buildings that became redundant in their simplified economy. These changes were among the first I implemented, but after recent testing, I believe their relevance might have diminished over the mod's development. Now, I've updated the mod without those files.

I am sorry if I wasn't clear enough in my first comment mod creator. What I meant is that the ai won't make custom goods for "Hearts of Appalachia" mod. Normally ai makes any good they have in demand, but when combining HoA, and your mod, the Ai never makes research centers, and therefore always lags behind in tech. I suppose then, that your mod always needs a compatibility patch with mods that add new goods?
I love your mod, so if I have any suggestions for potential changes in the future, I will let you know. For now, I am simply astonished that the mod works so well, thank you for it.

thanks for this mod. however, as you described that construction sectors will be automatically assigned and rebuilt for players who are playing as minor countries or insignificant powers--is there a way to turn off this function? since these construction sectors always made me bankrupt when playing as a minor country or insignificant power.

Regarding the "no building" issue, if it is intentional, how does the ai survive? The ai had a shortage of a specific good, and that shortage simply never went away, cuz they never built a building that produces that good. I am also playing on 1.4, not 1.5 if that helps.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see people still using my mod and I'm glad it's been helpful! I've updated the mod to be compatible with the new 1.5.0 version and from my end, everything seems to be working smoothly. Regarding the 'ai doesn't build anything' issue, this is intentional: countries outside of your market don't undergo construction, but their GDP is artificially increased to reflect growth.

I'm also considering creating another performance mod in the future. If there are any aspects of this mod or potential changes to the game's base mechanics that you'd like to discuss or express opinions on, I'd be happy to hear your thoughts!

Interesting, I hadn't really noticed that aspect. I plan to develop another performance mod in the future, but based on your feedback this time I'll aim to preserve the natural interactions and AIs behaviour throughout the gameplay. Thank you!

Tested it in a Korea Run. Performance is seriously improved, I had almost no slowdown in the lategame. Good job on this!
However it feels a bit like apart from the player country not much is happening.

Really good mod but the cultures will get integrated no matter what you choose in the settings. If that could be changed, it would be an spectacular mod.

Hey OP,
I did a quick test run. The event shows up in the journal tab, and the prerequisites while hovering over it shows it's met, but after the first week, it disappears and nothing happens/shows up.

I'm truly sorry for ruining your multiplayer game, and I must apologize for not being clear enough in the description. This mod is designed to be used in a new game, and it will drastically modify the AI gameplay for performance purposes when a nation is not selected by a player (such as in a multiplayer game when a player leaves temporarily).

I strongly recommend using this mod for rp or casual, and if you're playing a competitive multiplayer game, please make sure to inform the other players about the conditions and limitations of this mod.

Bad mod. Why the fuck did you make it so that it deletes all construction sectors???? Literally ruined a mp game cause it deleted all our construction sectors as Japan and Prussia...
