Any containers that you want to get liquid out of you need several pumps that insert air into them. Keeping the air pressure at or above 30 ATM is your best bet I suppose? Add several, even 10x small air intake pumps (Set electric motor at like 0.15 each?) per tank type to pressurize it.

The issue ofc is that no matter the height between pipes, it seems that ATM pressure between A and B matters most. Same for where you place the intake for each tank, it doesn't matter.

@Thomas Kirkman I haven't felt like updating it since the pressure update broke it. The pumps are on/near the dock under the paltform. Probably needs some. pressure relief valves but who know since the pressure mechanics are such a mess.

This is a masterpiece of Stormworks engineering. It works like a charm getting crude oil from under the ground which is under the sea, and putting it into a big tank. But if you intend to do anything beyond that, you're fairly out of luck. I've looked all over and there are absolutely no pumps for moving any of the products, Oil-Diesel-Jet-A, from the platform into a vessel beyond gravity. I tried to fuel a small boat from the bounty of hard work I had obtained, just to get a few liters dripping out the end into the boat.
For such a wonderful creation, this little detail surely is nothing more than an oversight I would hope.

Oops, I meant *producing diesel and jet fuel, not diesel and oil (I'm currently pulling an all nighter working on this oil rig LMAO)

I've been working on a bunch of fixes from the fluid/pressure updates to get things working again and just got the refineries producing diesel and oil now. I was also hoping to fill in a lot of the details and maybe shuffle some things around too. I would of course give proper credit and link back to the original creation.

It may be deep or maybe the game is bugged? if the drill still goes down then it hasn't reached oil yet. You'll hear a thundering sound when you hit oil

so ive been drilling for about 30 minutes now, and it still hasnt reached oil, why?

What happens when there is no more oil to drill out? seems like everything stopped at around 40k oil in the tanks, the furnaces don't seem to be working anymore either in terms of creating diesel/jet fuel

I followed your instructions and all seems to be working well, I have the furnaces going but hard to know if its working, there are two guages, one is unmarked and is going up, the other says diesel/jet fuel and is not going up, have I just not waited long enough?

Just wanna note when pumping it will destroy the creations because of the Pumping motion the drill head will bounce a bit and get stuck on the rod reloader, maybe make the drillhead go higher a bit it should fix it easily.

That makes sense. I managed to fix your furnaces to not run out of diesel but for some reason the oil is heating up super slow. I can’t figure that out.

Maybe I didn't design it so that oil could be pumped out of it.. I think that selling a refined form always gives more profit though

i am also looking into fixing the refineries. i cant pin point the issue but from what i can tell the refinery is not getting any Diesel

dont know if this was intentional but i discovered that all the pumps from the oil storage to the ports on the dock were reversed to transfer oil from the dock to the tank and not from the tank to the dock.

they were probably broken by the fluid update, haven't played since that came out. Waiting for it to be somewhat stable again before trying to fix things since otherwise a new change would just invalidate all the work.
