@Koi As I'm just the version maintainer, not the original author, I can't give an authoritative answer, but I'm guessing its two reasons: a) the precept requirements forbidding chopping trees was removed and b) plant specialist was moved to their other simplification, Rancher to Farm Life (which I also have a maintained branch of)

Why would you remove plants specialist and then say "less restrictive"?

I wish this could keep plants specialist. You can actually make the ideologion without the mod active then reactivate the mod to keep plants specialist.

Yeah this meme basically makes my pagan tribe accurate without having them ridiculously having a mental breakdown every fucking time they want to light a fire. So thanks for that.
It'd be nice to see a penalty still existing when you chop trees, but maybe more like a -5 to mood then an insane -20.

From what I understand this just simply modifies the meme. It makes it less "tree huggery" and I haven't had any issues using this with at least Vanilla expanded ideo stuff. As a matter of fact it might even help make tree memes more simple in general, but that I'm not entirely sure about, just guessing.

Does this mod add a new meme or replace the old? Cause I like the Idea of the old for a play through but having the new one seems more friendly when playing other games.

I kindaa wish that this and its othr similar mods, added a new simplified meme, rather than changing the existing meme - or wait, is that what it actually does??

if i remember correctly this would throw an error when used with the ideology anima theme mod but it didnt actually cause any bugs, just in case anyone was wondering. cheers for the update
