TBH, if it were a mod option in the original mod, I'd love to see much more than what I've done - I couldn't come up with a way for it to affect ranged lasers. And generally speaking, a "native" support could probably do without all the styles stuff, instead allowing us to set the colours we like directly in-game or in the mod options. What I did here is very basic.

you should probably contact oscar and get him to add this in as a mod option, saves you having to keep updating it separately, it's a good idea.
