@November If you use OpenStarbound, it will show every item when in admin mlde
November Aug 16 @ 4:45am
When using the Vanilla printer, if you type /admin and use the printer it populates every printable item. With the Lagless Printer the list stays to what I've scanned. Is there a way to get the Lagless Printer to populate everything? Also thank you for making a working lagless version!
Jumbalagoob Jul 31 @ 3:39pm
thank you.
Silver Sokolova  [author] Jul 30 @ 8:15pm
It's fixed now! Thank you!
Xanaphi Jul 30 @ 7:36pm
still not working... sent you a log
Silver Sokolova  [author] Jul 30 @ 3:34pm
@Xanaphi Thanks for the log file! It was a mod having an improper inventory icon instead of a 'clash of file names' (the printer's "Gather all objects and put them into a list for admin players" script died at the object with the improper inventory icon). Try it now and let me know if it works!
Silver Sokolova  [author] Jul 30 @ 3:06pm
So you only need this mod
Silver Sokolova  [author] Jul 30 @ 3:06pm
@Jumbalagoob Mine does fix it (it's the same issue, but the mod you're referring to doesn't fix it, in my opinion, in a good way without drawbacks). The mod you're referring to manually tells the printer what objects exist (meaning most modded objects will not show, even if they are printable, and also throws a ton of errors in the log if you're missing a mod). My mod keeps track of what you scan and uses that to determine what the printer should show
Jumbalagoob Jul 30 @ 3:02pm
Does this fix the memory leak thing or do i have to specifically use that one mod?
Xanaphi Jul 29 @ 6:52pm
sent you the log
Silver Sokolova  [author] Jul 29 @ 1:25am
@Xanaphi Please send your log files so I can look into the issue. Try pressing the buttons in the interface before sending the log too!
Xanaphi Jul 28 @ 10:32pm
@Mohammed just wondering what the solution was to this? Me and friends started using osb recently and are having the same issue, it's the only issue we've had since switching over
Mohammed May 26 @ 9:11am
Alright not to worry I just sorted it out, a non related mod had a clash of file names
Silver Sokolova  [author] May 26 @ 1:18am
Could I see the logs please?
Mohammed May 26 @ 12:48am
Im not sure how many times you have to ask, but yes and yes, I am using OS and this mod on it's latest version and to no avail
Silver Sokolova  [author] May 26 @ 12:25am
Are you running the most recent version of OpenStarbound? Can I see the logs from a session where you tried pressing the buttons?
Mohammed May 26 @ 12:21am
I couldn't be more certain lol, I have both options with OS and nothing else happens upon selecting either button
Silver Sokolova  [author] May 26 @ 12:19am
@Mohammed Are you sure you're using OpenStarbound? On the latest version of this mod, the vanilla button is hidden when oSB is installed (since having it allows the lagless pixel printer to show all items when in admin mode). If StarExtensions is installed, both the import and vanilla buttons are shown. If running vanilla, only the vanilla button is shown.
Mohammed May 26 @ 12:11am
I have both import and vanilla I am able to select "pixells available" for there are no items to be purchased on any of the menus
Silver Sokolova  [author] May 25 @ 11:52pm
@Mohammed Are there multiple red buttons? Only the Import button should be there if you're using OpenStarbound. With the menu still open after clicking the import button, are you able to interact with any other UI element without having to close and re-open the printer?
Mohammed May 25 @ 11:21pm
Quite literally nothing, no menu, both menus are highlighted in red - perhaps that may help - I even reset my scans via admin but to no avail. I do not have any errors in my log too, I scan items both before and post clicking the import but no confirmation box comes up
Silver Sokolova  [author] May 25 @ 6:56pm
@Mohammed what happens when you press the import button? does it open another menu asking if you're sure? The import button won't be able to do anything if you're on a character who either hasn't scanned anything without this mod, or already has their vanilla scans in the printer
Mohammed May 25 @ 2:37pm
HI I'm using OpensStarbound. the import function didn't work. I tried to scan again, use a different character, there was no issue in the logs, could I have simply missed something?
Helix May 7 @ 9:01pm
Great work, appreciate the quick response. I'll update the mod now on clients and server. Take care
Silver Sokolova  [author] May 7 @ 3:37pm
@Helix no problem! try updating it
Helix May 7 @ 10:43am
Thank you for keeping this updated! After updating my server (running latest OSB), I am seeing an error with the postload script:

[11:41:43.612] [Info] Running postLoad scripts ["/xrc_pp/postload.lua"]
[11:41:43.869] [Error] Exception while running postLoad scripts from asset source '../mods/3003880924.pak': (LuaException) Error code 2, [string "/xrc_pp/postload.lua"]:8: attempt to call a nil value (method 'sub')
stack traceback:
[C]: in method 'sub'
[string "/xrc_pp/postload.lua"]:8: in local 'formatIcon'
[string "/xrc_pp/postload.lua"]:25: in main chunk

I can provide an entire log if needed.

A button to open the original interface has been added, so users can see all objects by using admin mode
A button to add old scanned objects to the lagless printer has been added, so players with characters made before installing this mod can keep their list of scanned objects
Δ-k180 Jan 26 @ 11:56am
the game is laggy

now i'm just wondering if the vanilla pixel printer still lags in openstarbound
Dylldophlo Jan 18 @ 11:25pm
Nice
Davoker Oct 8, 2024 @ 5:51pm
@patman It is also understandable that some people may not want to use "external plugins that are unrelated to the game." You can't blame them, considering the amount of shit we have today that can harm them in one way or another.

I understand that for you it's something safe, it's yours, but you know that, not the person coming from outside. It's normal and even sensible for them to have doubts about it, in my opinion.
patman Oct 4, 2024 @ 12:40pm
ok u know what that's completely fair we need to return to the creative mode mods from 2013 that were just silly crafting stations
Silver Sokolova  [author] Oct 4, 2024 @ 12:34pm
@Xeldaon with OpenStarbound, Spawnable Item Pack automatically adds all items from installed mods
Star Slayer Oct 4, 2024 @ 11:09am
@patman i fucking love my silly crafting stations and i dont want to make a thousand patchs for mods i use still i appreciate the mod thank you for your contrubition for the community ! :SBchicken:
patman Oct 3, 2024 @ 5:19pm
if you;re in admin mode. use spawnable item pack instead of silly crafting stations
Silver Sokolova  [author] Oct 3, 2024 @ 4:49pm
@Xeldaon yes, that's because loading every object that hasn't been scanned would just bring the lag back...
Star Slayer Oct 3, 2024 @ 11:36am
DOESNT WORK IN ADMIN MODE IF YOU HAVENT SCANNED ANYTYHING
Davoker Jul 2, 2024 @ 4:20pm
I understand, I have not looked at it internally, I will take a look and find out, thanks (づ ̄ 3 ̄)づ
Silver Sokolova  [author] Jul 2, 2024 @ 4:01pm
@Davoker it depends on how the mod adds them. if it's "go into admin" then they wont be accessible. if the mod sends a "you scanned an object" entity message to the player, it should work
Davoker Jul 2, 2024 @ 3:28pm
A question, how does your printer respond to a mod that "just adds several objects to the printer"? That is, the objects don't exist in the game without the printer, so they can't be scanned until you print them first. So, would your printer know these objects by default? I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself well. Here’s an example:

@Silver Sokolova
can't wait you to add that feature
Soot the Axolotl Jun 8, 2024 @ 12:18pm
neat, that'd be cool
Silver Sokolova  [author] May 31, 2024 @ 6:17pm
@ziplogcom no but i may make one which uses StarExtensions or OpenStarbound stuff
Soot the Axolotl May 31, 2024 @ 5:43pm
is there a command to add all the items back to the Pixel Printer after installing this mod with a command?
Silver Sokolova  [author] Jan 22, 2024 @ 6:48pm
@Naii Starwing I'll have to check it out. I don't have any ideas how this mod could cause that to happen since it changes the interact action of the object, and even if the instance in the instance world has the values of the vanilla object (ie: laggy interface), it'd just open that instead of crashing
Naii Starwing Jan 19, 2024 @ 10:58am
Hey, any pixel printers in instanced areas seem to crash people on activation. There's one in an Extra Dungeons level and it crashed me. I had to be careful the second go to avoid it.
patman Jan 7, 2024 @ 8:30am
no. theres a reason she didnt do that
Tdxasie Jan 7, 2024 @ 6:55am
is it possible to patch it so that at startup it gets all previously scanned items and adds it rightly formatted to the xrc_pp property of player ?
Krypanzer Jan 6, 2024 @ 12:27pm
Sorry I'm blind :steamfacepalm:
