i love this mod, one for the cool factor of boss intros and titles, and 2, because of the funny factor. playing terraria with this, and a mod that makes all explosions have a vine boom sound, its just funny. peak mod for sure

This mod isn't working. When i fought King Slime no intro showed up. Same for some of the other bosses.

@Dice Yes, English language. I saw the update/downdate you posted after I commented and did a clean re-install, that seemed to mostly fix it. So I assume it is something with the localization. It is a very fun mod when it works, makes the game feel a lot more RPG-like.

I have Calamity and Calamity Fables, but there disabled. I'll try a few more bosses (with and without) tomorrow and report back.

and the update all is a bug from steam/tmodloader, I reverted to an older version and it still tries to update

Okay. I just fought Queen Bee and did not get an intro. Also the Mod Configuration options for Boss Intros does not let me interact with it in the game.

Except for one thing: when I go into "Download Mods" in the Workshop in game now, it's still showing me the orange "Update All" button and it appears to try to download an update for Boss Intros, but fails. However under "Manage Mods", the mod appear to be enabled fine and doesn't show any pending updates. Going into a world just now, everything appears to load fine. I haven't yet fought a boss again, but I'll let you know when I do.

I checked for that folder and didn't have it. I tried subcribing in gam, but again the mod wasn't showing up under "Manage Mods", and still didn't have the 3003323203 folder.

I closed the game and subscribed here in Steam and it seems to be working now.

same here, I don't have anything except enabled.json, a text file, and another file from another mod

I only have a enabled.json file in the directory.

I also deleted the mod and re downloaded. That didn't help.

I've also deleted and subscribed through the steam page here and the mod isn't showing up in my mod list in "Manage Mods"

I did a quick little cheat runthrough to get all the intros as they are displaying in my game, Image descriptions show which boss was actually spawned (whether it seems correct or not). Hopefully this helps you figure out the issue.

I'm also experiencing some weird behaviour with Thorium installed. Lich was introduced by his own subtitle, while Empress of Light was called "Queen Slime" (but had what seemed to be the appropriate subtitle).

@Selacha english language? could be a problem from the localization I added

Doesn't seem to work with Thorium or Fargo's Souls mods, the two I tried it with. It just puts their "subtitle" twice instead of giving their name. Works great with Vanilla bosses, so if you're not using Thorium or Fargo's then it adds a nice touch, but if you are then maybe skip it. Kind of takes the impact away.
