Some ideas (some arent 50s but would be in the 50s):
1941 dodge deluxe
1953 ford customline
1949 buick super 8 sedan
1950s peterbilt or mack
1954 chevy sedan
if you ever do trains, an EMD diesel engine from the 50s, like the sante fe engine.
