If the log had anything useful I would have included it. Because the game crashes without throwing an error, the log has nothing, not even a crash report. Hugslib doesn't have anything. But here's your log.

I would recommend reproducing the steps on your own or use the save provided;
Start a dev quicktest, spawn 3 mono glaives, equip your colonists, assign hunting, mark animals for hunting, and unpause. I can usually force a crash within a minute. Short of me decompiling and editing your assembly, then throwing in stack traces, you have a better idea of your hybrid weapon system than I ever will.

Sorry the log isn't helpful in this case, but the game crashes silently, and I don't know of a way around that personally.

Agreed, The hybrid weapons with CE cause a crash-to-desktop during instances when swapping to melee. I have been able to repeat this on dev quicktests using the Glaive to hunt. Colonists will shoot normally, reload normally, but when moving to finish off a downed animal, the game crashes to desktop. No error log, just a hard crash. I suspect its related to the weapon mode-change from ranged to melee when the pawn goes to finish off the animal.

I wanted to mention that while some mentioned an issue with using shield belt with the glaive, I've discovered that there is also an issue using shield belts with the Mono Spear. I hadn't been noticing that two of my melee pawns with them were not attacking since getting them.

Im using CE and there is definitely something going on with glaives and other hybrid melee\ranged weapons
Had to cherry pick them out unfortunately
Well, I think the old version of the mono spear texture looks more attractive,the blade of the new spear seems a bit short :P

Mono Glaive melee or ranged attack cannot be used with shield belt though description of weapon says they can. If a pawn attacks with a Mono Glaive and equipped shield belt, they instead stand and do nothing. Upon removing shield belt, the Mono Glaive attacks and shoots like normal.

one of your patches for royal arsenal uses VEF.ThingDefExtension when it should VEF.Things.ThingDefExtension and this causes a red error on startup

This would be a great set of weapons, except for the debuffs to speed/hit chance etc with most (if not all) of the weapons. Because of this I haven't used any of these weapons despite having this mod for ages. Sorry to the mod author, I'm not being ungrateful, but it's just personal preference. I use the vanilla monosword & zeushammer instead. Thanks anyway.

I'm currently encountering a problem where they won't shoot any of the mono weapons with that function, not sure why. they just stare at the target lovingly and never shoot

Immersion Reason: Empire Crafter wouldn't make subpar quality Stellic Weapons for their lieges
Design and Technical Reason: It would be annoyed to find these weapons not at maxed quality since they are rare. Also their current stats are between Masterwork and Legendary of their initial base stats.

Cool stuff. The lack of quality scaling on the stellic weapons is a bit of a bummer, though. Is there a particular reason for this, considering that all the other weapons have it?

I know why it's not patched with CE:GE while there's already a CE patch in there, it's using patch find mod to find Combat Extended which works normally and but not for Combat Extended: Gameplay Edition. Adding or changing the patch find mod to CE:GE should work. (This applies to all of the weapon packs made by mod author)

With simple CE work well, so all problem solved when i change to defoult one

UPD. Theres no compatible at all, that was autopatch from CE itself

Stellic have ammo, no question on it.
Crypto forgot to check.
Awf... another one restart with more then 900 modpack
Ill tryed to pach myself, but with ingame menus is harder then i think. Im literaly lost all weapon personality (EMP, Tox...) without creators idea about balance.
Not so much mods give good melee for end game. Sad thats not for CE. Hope you find some time for CE (masoc...) Enjoyers

ALL of your weapons awesome in vanila, but in CE its usless.
As i see with "Manual CE Patch" it not comp with ce. stats MUST be buffed close to CE Royalty weapons.
Now unplayable with CE (tryed Mono, Plasma and Zeus)
MonoSword from Royalty have armor pen 20-50 your 0.9-2
P.S. Maybe it one of my mods buffed CE defoults (CE Melee Ext.?) ill look when ill stop cry...

Getting some errors on startup with Combat Extended. I assume there's some compat patch problems.
Could not load UnityEngine.Texture2D at Things/Projectile/MonoLanceProj/MonoLanceProj in any active mod or in base resources.

Why does it say that buster has more damage than bastard when buster deals the same damage with slashes (both are 48) and even less with stabs (bastard is 48, buster is 30) while also having less armor penetration and having same attack speed (except stabs)? Only positive for buster is increased crit chance. Same situation with the longsword, but its doesn't even have increased crit chance. I'm playing with CE by the way. Does this mod not have the same balance with CE as with vanilla maybe? Otherwise this mod is very cool, like it a lot

IMO a Monoaxe would be redundant because axes relies on their weight to cut through armor and since Monoblades are extreme sharp and can cut through steel with ease it kind of doesn't make sense to make a Monoaxe. I do have 2 Plasma Axes in my Plasma Pack and the Crypto/Cryo Pack will have 1 Battleaxe.

Hello!I tried to change the drawsize of the Prestige Stellic Sword to make it visually larger, but in the game it only takes effect when the sword is placed on the ground, and it doesn't work when the character is holding a weapon. Do you know what caused this?

So for me the charge blaster simply seems to "not be there" from the perspective of the game. Pawns which have it equipped and set to ranged shots will not performed ranged combat, opting to just stand in place when send to kill using something like search and destroy

Neither do they fire when directed told to do so.

I haven't found any error logs about it yet (I will post one later) but functionally as if the ranged option on the Mono Glaive is decorational. As in it is present and it seems like everything it working to allow it do so, but they just, won't fire.
