Unfortunately I haven't seen this mission until now, a sequel to no 1. And besides that I could repeat everything I wrote earlier - this is again a pleasure to play.
Your ability to create an environment, intense
- sweat inducing
- hand cramping
- breathing demanding
- forget about meal time demanding
- forget about sleeping time experience
- breathlessness creating
- several cups of coffee demanding
an episode of an unparalleled masterpiece - quite simple . Thank you for your contribution, your missions and your ability to inspire me as well as others
- not by long youtube videos about what you can do and how - but simply by showing the way,
as in these missions -
.............................................You're simply a loner - in a cool way
THE SCENARIO HAS BEEN UPDATED:
For the changes to be applied correctly, you will have to resubscribe (preferably without the game running) and then restart the scenario.
Modification 1: The countdown in the part of neutralizing the 4 mortars has been removed.
Modification 2: In mission 2, additional seconds were added before the sniper/spotter flees.
Modification 3: The Briefing has been modified and now correctly indicates which parameter must be activated in order to play the scenario.
Modification 4: In mission 3, some explosions that caused the unexpected death of the player were removed.
Regarding the issues you describe, have you been running the scenario using only the two required mods or any additional mod that could be increasing the complexity of the shots and bullet physics? I ask this because all the tests I did during the development were using the default configuration that comes with the game and in general I never had problems in those parts.
i like cod and arma so this is quite the win win for me
however the sniping parts in this mission make me wanna poke my goddamn eyes out
because holy shit does it feel like the enemies your sniping have a goddamn forcefield on their asses that deflects my rounds and sends them into the dirt
Adding voice acting would make the mission 11/10 btw although I understand it has a lot of work behind.
On the other hand my only two complaints (and I think this isn't even your fault, we all know how arma 3 is made) is that when I had to defend the camp the AI spawned so close to me preaming at my head through the smoke that i was constantly getting hs to the point I had to lay down behind some cover and let the AI companions do the job. The other is that when pushing through the camp I was constantly getting blown up from random explosions to the point it was a bit frustrating and I had to load save constantly.
Anyways one of the best experiences I've ever had from an arma 3 mission 10/10! Im looking foward for the third one.
I played the first and this second one. I have to say these are the best missions I've ever played, they felt like literally cinema, like I was playing a COD campaing. Every cinematic was so perfectly made it literally felt like I was watching a TV show like it could belong to a totally different game.
The AI movement and pathing was perfect, they seemed even human not like the cluncky arma 3 AI im used to. The camera transitions were so well done, like the sniper one was astonishing or the one transitioning from the camp to the blackfish , dude it was just awesome. The scenary was so well made, it felt so detailed. Every piece of dirt, house, car wreck, explosions, damn EVEN SOME RANDOM BOXES AND PLASTIC CHAIRS! I cannot even imagine how many hours you put in to making it so detailed.
THE SCENARIO HAS BEEN UPDATED:
If you have previously downloaded the scenario, you will need to "Reset/Reboot" it for the changes to be applied correctly.
Modification 1: New adjustment in the time margins in the sniper sequences.
I agree that the 'timers' can be annoying, but so far I haven't found another way to indicate to the player that they need to move quickly. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you very much Maxz85 for your feedback on this and my other scenario!
