it's not since the version of the mythic menu tags i have broke at some point with a tools update and i have zero clue how to fix it. There is, however, a version of Mythic already on the workshop by Loudzy which looks pretty good, though they're missing the Mythic Forge and Custom Games menu

i know this is random but is halo 3 mythic by chance in consideration? i know not many prob would care about it but i think its neat plus it technically does have a campagin option also i love these mods gives me a bit of the old feeling of halo again back

Could u add a version with the menu music attached to the bink files? You can turn the main menu music basically down to 1 and then the original game music can be played through the bink files. It is a way to replace the music. Id be happy if you could. I tried to myself but i do not understand how.

sadly no since 343 tied the audio of the menu videos to "main menu music", which doesn't actually control the video audio as you'd expect, instead acting like "0 = no audio, 1+ = full 100% audio"

I just wanted to ask if there was anyway to turn down the actual sound of the modded video? i am a bit new to this stuff on pc and just wanted the classic halo backgrounds but its a little loud.

Actual heat, tysm. My only question is regarding the music, Does it play the classic halo 3 menu music or no? if not then its all good, this is still TOP tier in regards to mods for this game :)

The MCC haven't been updated since like July of last year lol

There hasn't been an update for some time and this is false information. However, there (currently) exists a bug in the current MCC build where your menu videos may reset for absolutely no reason whatsoever, and you have to re-apply them, which is likely what you're experiencing. I just booted it up and mine are still there, including the h3 ones.

Pretty sure latest updates broke this mod, in case anyone is wondering.

Yeah, because of that I had to set Halo 3 to use the video menu for Custom games, since while I play campaign a lot, I only spend a couple of seconds on the campaign menu, while usually in customs you would take a while to set up everything before you can play with games. And therfore, the video for customs is the one you would see most of the time.

This is crisp af thanks a lot, I jus wish 343 allowed u to manually change backgrounds for all gamemodes, i have the H3 campaign one set and it seems a lil jarring seeing it in custom games and forge but thats such a small nitpick lol

Some videos with music recommends setting the menu volume to 1 since you won't be able to hear the original menu music, while the new modded video will play out at 100 volume.

If 343 fixes it so I can put menu music down to zero and keep the audio in the videos present, yeah. Until then no.

Any way to switch the audio from the MCC to the original halo 3 version?

@Vanilla bink videos don't require version checking like cache files do since they're just a video file.

If i do any new variations they'll be a separate pack in the Video Collection, 3.1 gigs is pushing it a bit for me.
