@Falubo2008: My mod aims to enhance unreformed gameplay. I want to encourage players to stay Viking — that means things will get tougher (especially in the later time periods), but you'll also get some special bonuses, like turning those so-called "beacons of civilization" into temples for the Old Gods.

Very good mod. Though is there a reason why reformed asatru faiths cant turn constantinople and rome to holy sites? Also are there any plans of adding something to later start dates like 1066?

Ok I just checked again and Rollo does appear on the map, he is just forced to be Count in southern Norway instead of being an Adventurer.

To the best of my knowledge, RICE has a specific compatibility feature for mods (such as mine) that affect Rollo. It is definitely possible to play Rollo with RICE and Nordic Honor, as I tested this scenario some time ago.

Somehow this mod makes picking Rollo from RICE impossible. Everytime I select him from the starting screen and press Play to jump into the game, it throws me to the screen where you can pick any starting ruler from the whole map/create your own ruler.

Piggy Backing of TibVikings suggestion;

Being able to add Toledo, Cordoba, Tunis/ Carthage as holy sites aswell would be cool as a Norse in north africa or Iberia.

A cool idea would also be to have a norse character on Basque Territories be able to form a Hybrid faith with Euskal & Norse via decision.

@Renown Agreed, Old Gods Expended is not awful it is just a mess and the dev of that mod does not know what he actually wants the mod to be LOL, also @Nord your doing a fine job with this mod my only request is you give more holy sites for odinnstru (Mainly In the HRE/Germania)

My mod is as lightweight as it can get.
It is not compatible with mods that alter 00_germanic.txt - so if your mod alters the Asatru faith in any way it is incompatible.

Baptism of Rus - changes slavic faiths I suppose thus it should be compatible
Rurik Slavorum - is known as not compatible

most of the decisions like adding Constantinople or Rome as Holysites will require to alter 00_germanic.txt. .
Thus i wouldn't be able to add these to the set.

Anyways once I have enough time to work on Nordic Honor 1.2 , I will consider to create some Compability Patches and all the feedback I got so far in the comments.

Old Gods Expanded is ... awful anyhow. It's tremendously awkward including things like blood of gods, thralls (and makes it an inheritable trait which spreads EVERYWHERE to the point my Princes/Kings etc get the trait) and more.

This mod is a lot better, focuses purely on astaru (more compatible) and more accurate historically.

I never played that mod.
That beeing said there’s at least a conflict between the alterations made by Asatru and my mod.

You could load my mod after Old Gods Expanded and see what happens; however, this will override the changes that the Old Gods Expanded mod makes to Asatru.

Additionally, if there are decisions, events, or other content tied to a specific religion, those will likely conflict as well.

The anglo-saxon germanic faith originated from the angels, jutes, and saxos who traveled away from the northern germany, denmark region to britain .... so yea you can say that.

however a seperate anglo-saxon (britsh isle) pagan faith is not yet implemented.
WHEN I come back I might adress that.

As for now I can't really tell since I don't really remember what I did there and I am currently not active in the CK modding scene...

Could you let us know what you use to trigger the manual creation of holy sites for a faith? I know a LOT of people who would be all too happy to incorporate that into their own mods, or to attach to other mods like MB+ or the various mods that create Alternative/Fantastical historical scenarios.

In the localization file 'nh_religion_paganism_l_english.yml' the lines 'heidinn_pagan_adj' and 'heidinn_pagan_old_adj' do not have their localization capitalized.

I don't know, Haven't got the time to test it or to play CK3. However as I read the Religion was rewritten - so maybe that one needs a fix to work.
