-the crafting crucible will show crafting stations from another world if you switch worlds (the circumstance was I died in hardcore and began anew. It fixed itself upon reloading and its purely visual
-throwing the crucible or vault into a corner/wall where the sprite clips into the wall causes the item to fall through the ground ignoring tile collision
The latter is far more irritating as I had to go get dragonlens to get my vault back
So far everything else works as intended
I'm sure the Developers will fix this soon, but I found a "workaround".
You can turn on the ruler to see where your invisible cursor is. It should help out quite a bit.
i have found the dragonstones and the cost in gold interesting in term of mechanics to upgrade the vault, and the UI is really easy to use.
i'll wait and see future updates, but now, i think i'll stick to magic storage a little more... :/
1. you open the vault and take a random item out
2. had to either set it in your inventory and quick stack it into the vault or scroll down to the bottom of it or type something in the research bar to deposit it again
3. take your crafting items out
4. craft some items
5. then restart at the first step until you have crafted everything you had to craft
also i think that 20 golds to upgrade for the first time the crucible is a little too high, especially when we have many mods loaded at once that add crafting stations, and, talking about that, some of the moded crafting stations can't be placed into it (you can't make an acid wood workbench from calamity to replace the workbench for exemple).
the second thing i found a little annoying is that there are no mod config at all, i think it could have been great to allows players to change the cost to upgrade the vault/crucible, size of UI and the position of the remote access button for example.
in last i had to ask if the fact that it will take an item out of the vault when you open the UI on your mouse or that if you have an item on your mouse you want to deposit in the vault it will just exchange it with another item, were intentional. the second point here make me thing that's just how terraria vanilla chests works. but there are a slight difference between them : the quantity it could be shown on the UI. on the vanilla chests, you could always see the entire content, not in the vault.
- materials don't get used up sometimes at the crafting crucible
- if you right click to open it and the ui is under your cursor, it acts as if you had right clicked an item and it selects 1 unintentionally
- empty items appearing in the vault called "a"/ghost items
- smart cursor doesn't detect the vault
some personal criticisms
- ui is way too large and clunky
- crafting crucible takes away crafting station permanently
- all those crystal things you get after killing bosses don't need to be visible at all times as it just takes up more space
- you can click through the ui
- its semi transparent
other than that the mod is really great
Just needs a condensed crafting window that matches the looks of the vault.
Something like the mod "Better Crafting Interface".
Also recommend those outside the frame icons for storage and crafting stations be on the right hand side, since you would want to put the frames in the bottom left.
Other then that, just needs the fixes that Nediamail05 and Barrel commented below.
Those are kind of game breaking/frustrating issues.
- Another nice feature would be to disable item use when clicking on the menu, can be very bad if a bomb is selected in the hotbar.
- Also should make it so you can't shift click favorited items into the vault.
- Is it intentional to not be able to remove crafting stations from the cauldron? Because I think you should be able to.
- I think you should be able to craft with things from the vault when it's open, just like chests from the start.
- Would be nice if the vault had a smaller variant.
Crafting stuff using items inside the vault sometimes consumes the components without actually creating the item causing the item to be lost.
Quite often "ghost items" appear in the vault with no sprite or name (just "a") and trying to take them out causes them to disappear.
I don't think I'll be using this until the first bug is fixed as it's pretty detrimental, unless it's caused by other mods, but it doesn't seem like it.
for Dragon's vault, im understood directly! its ergonomique and satisfying progression systeme! .w .
