Do also note that this mod's screenshots are outdated since they are showing these units while performing a custom animation that is not there anymore.
This mod started initially as a submod for another mod with custom animations and then was made as standalone with vanilla animations due to various issues with that particular mod.
So there isn't much left of the "Phalanx part" of the mod atm since these custom units are using the vanilla Chaos Dwarf Warriors animation.
Also do note that I don't make custom animations, so if you are into Phalanx-like custom animations you might want to ask to other modders who have already experience with custom animations.
I can't find a version of Palancx but I would like to ask if you are willing to make a mod
The "outdated" label on the mod it's currently just the version number and that's it.
So this mod is perfectly fine to use because literally nothing changed for it between 5.3 and 6.0 : it's the same mod.
I'd rather wait and push an update when it's really needed.
I guess we just need to make do
You could make a submod to replace custom animations with vanilla ones for infantry units but custom cavalry and javelin units would still be broken since there aren't any vanilla equivalents for Dwarfs units, so it would be an half fix at best and completely pointless.
The best way to fix that mod is to either take over and update everything or make a submod that fix everything.
Can we somehow patch the original mod with vanilla animation ?
I'll keep monitoring the main mod but at this point a return of D3rpyN3wb seems unlikely and unless someone else is going to fix it again we may be stuck with vanilla animations for good this time.
Do also note that probably this update was not save compatible, sorry if I borked your save in that case.
Yeah i know but well, already found some motivated modders on steam but we need some more help so..
Btw even I wrote down the wrong one, still really enjoying your mod, ty for your work mate :)
Again: consider joining Da Modding Den https://discord.com/invite/moddingden and asking there if anyone is interested in your project.
IMO, trying to recruit random modders here on Steam will most likely result in a whole lot of nothing.
Well first thanks a lot for your mod, pretty awesome and gives some fresh flavor to lzd (hello Nakai :D) !
I'm into creating a mod and i think you may be interested in because it hasnt been done yet. Need some 3d talented modders like you guys ;). If you want to know what i'm talking about, add me on discord and i'll explain where we going : maxou5134
