Update
- Added the new skill chain from 7.0 to Cultists of Slaanesh (customized for different cultures)
- Enabled Cultists for Norsca again
- Fixed more issues related to the update
- Added support for many new modded factions

(note: this update occurred on December 10th, notes are just late)

@Imperial_Taizu, The Mad Demoknight - Something is amiss if the user needs to adjust load order. When you made those reports, the live version of the mod was updated and did not CTD with a minimal mod list, so I suspect there is a conflict with another mod. I have updated again since, which might somehow help.

@Sebellanian - No harm done, but it's true that just minutes after a major DLC is no time for crash reports.
Cultist of Khorne cannot be recruited. Always [A new character will be available on the next turn.]
Cultist of Tzeentch cannot join the army.

so it seems to have fixed itself when I put this mod higher in the load order by a large amount.

yeah I'm getting a CTD and it says this mod is the cause. Something to do with what Kharon said.

The added new skills to slaaneshi cultists are being overwritten by your mod. Changing the indent of combat skills to 2 in character_skill_nodes_tables seems to fix it.

Initial Update
Patched to be playable with 7.0 and adjust to some new changes. Cultists are not currently available for Norsca anymore, but they will return later. Please report any bugs (after confirming you actually updated!)

MAYBE you should wait a bit before crying. The modding tool hasn't even updated yet.

Many mods affecting even vanilla units won't work until the tool is updated.

Hello! The 7.0 patch seem to have broken this mod, the crash report reads as follows:

"The following mods cause a crash to the Database: alshua_cultists.pack

The first invalid database record is
wh3_main_agent_action_establish_cult_sla in table campaign_group_member_criteria_agent_subtype_tables and pack file alshua_cultists.pack"

@RayZzen - A complex mod like this may not be possible to add mid-campaign. You definitely cannot remove it mid-campaign.

@Bigot Sandwich - If you look at the recruitment graphic in the images above (I know there are a lot), I summarize in image form how it works for the various factions. My compromise with Sigvald was to let him recruit anything but Khorne (the Chaos god opposed to Slaanesh). So, that is intentional yeah.

@Rino - Morathi's cultists cannot establish cults, no.

@uncertified forklift operator - This seems reasonable. I'll probably add that in.
Would it be possible to give the cultists the skills that increase Army Authority like the other Warriors of Chaos heroes?

Playing as Sigvald (lost and found mod) I cant recruit female Brass Khorne agent, there's no building for me to recruit them, is that a choice or a bug because i can recruit the others

@Autumnchain - Sorry I kept you waiting for a follow-up. Those factions don't get that feature either. When the Slaanesh DLC completes the Chaos set I do want to take stock of what exists and evaluate this mod again.

Thanks for your response. However, I'd like a small clarification. My question would probably have been more informative if I asked "Does this mod give Cult mechanics to the Warriors of Chaos, Norsca, Daemons of Chaos and Dark Elves?" Your response answers most of it, but not the part about the Champions of Chaos Warriors of Chaos faction who are arguably mono-god.

Cultists cant be covered in blood. At least Cult Oracle and Pleasure Cultist.

Thanks Vaxar Kun. That behavior is intended, because Bloodletters are stronger than Furies. Even with this bonus, the Bloodletters remain a better choice for raw combat power, whereas the Furies are a better choice if the thing you want to die is far away or flying.

khorne cultist (used male, idk about female) does not have initial cooldown for the fury summon. bloodletter summon works as expected

Update
* Support for Skulltaker and Arbaal the Undefeated.
* Updated all versions of Khorne Cultists to include the new customization skills included in patch 6.0, including gender-swapped flavor text for the Cultists of Brass.
* Replaced Khorne-specific customization skills for Norsca, added flavorful Norscan versions
* Added a few missing modded factions (thanks 𓆚 standardheadache 𓆚)

@Blazindragon - I do intend to do that eventually, yes.

@Amko - This is great feedback. I will look into it, especially for Valkia. Valkia + Brass Sisters is one of those features people were excited about even before Valkia came out, so I want to make sure it feels good for her.

@Reiteration6 - It's a fair point. This is a deceptively complex mod, sometimes I have to weigh how long a feature will take versus how much new content I could make.

In faction_agent_permitted_subtypes_tables, cr_chs_po_hai (the Ro-Bie faction) and cr_chs_the_scourgeborn (from LCCP) aren't present, despite their buildings supporting it. I'm fine with making a submod for it; I've already got it done, but would you prefer to do it on your end? I'm not sure if IEE starts affect removing dependencies from the parent mod. :P10:

It's awesome that this reduces the number of mods needed from 5 to 2, but it would be really great if you could make a version that had the pleasure cultist reskin built in, to reduce the mod number down to just 1.

Requiring Cultist Camps for capacity increases is an interesting idea but kinda annoying in practice. WoC garrisons for regular settlements are puny, and you're incentivized to use vassals for land-holding rather than occupation. Trying to get a bunch of Brass Sisters for Valkia is frustrating. Especially because not all the resources actually grant Brass capacity.

I can't remember if I got an answer but will you will ever be adding a second Cultist for Slaanesh to balance it out so each faction has 2 cultists? I suggest a Cultist of Pain or possibly Excess that maybe uses the old model?

Fixes
- Cultist of Brass gains the standard 35% spell resistance that was added at some point for Khorne cultists [thanks for the report, CrimsonAvocado]
- Cult Oracle is now correctly unable to create cults for The Changeling (the Changeling creates his cults with Trickster cultists, war, and other methods) [thanks for the report, Sokundor]
