Imagine how exciting it would be if Braven's mods were added to that list as endorsed mods for the game! Even if we simply added Brazen's "Common Sense" mod, it would add so much more value to the game because it's truly a great mod. Credit to the original developers should/will always be fulfilled, and it would add a lot of much-desired common sense to the game. It would make these faithful (as in faithful to the author's original intent/theme) mods accessible to more members of the PZ community, and it would serve as a role model for future modders.

Personally, I was surprised when I discovered that Braven's "Common Sense" mod's features weren't already in the base game by default.

I would love for these features to become a part of the game or, at least, have this mod be approved/whitelisted by the game developers for new players.

P.S.: I presume you are a single person working on these mods, but please find a way to update them. They are exactly what this game needs.

I wish they were implemented into the main game or, at least, officially approved by the game developers.

Imagine if Braven's mods were installed with the base game by default and all you had to do was enable them in the in-game mods list, where the "Mod Template" mod currently resides (You'll know what I mean if you've seen it before; it's the one with the pie image).

I'm quite sure other games have done this before; this isn't new.

As a new player, I remember the first time I pressed the "Mods" button only to be met with the lackluster, (nearly) vacant mod list.

I can see where the ambiguity stems from. Zombies are neither living nor dead; they are somewhere in between. They are not alive, but, in spite of that, they display properties, characteristics, and behaviors that resemble, to some extent, living beings, such as animation, locomotion, sensory input, and the recognition of sensory stimuli (like fleeing humans). I like the title "Braven's Camouflage"; it implicitly suggests that the infected horde is like a natural disaster, like a tornado, an earthquake, or a volcanic eruption. Consequently, it's perhaps apt to call it an un natural disaster. It also quite simply sounds good, and it gives people a rough idea of what to expect from the mod.

But perhaps the title "Brazen's Mimicry" would make more sense since it's more about disguising oneself as the infected, living un living beings, as opposed to concealing oneself in a natural environment.

Personally, I think it makes more sense to describe this mod's behavior as mimicry.

Braven, do you think "Braven's Mimicry" (or even "Braven's Undead Disguise") would make more sense in this context?

Let me be clear: I love this mod. The creativity it enables, the meaning it conveys through its thoughtful details, and, perhaps most importantly, its wholesome nature enhance the game immeasurably, a boon to the foundations of the wonderful PZ community. I can only speak for myself, but I'm sure everyone would thank you for the love, care, and dedication you put into your projects. Your creativity and ingenuity are remarkable, Brazen; I truly mean it.

It's compatible with "True Crawl", just make sure Braven's mod is later than it in the load order.

Camouflage stopped working, this is not related to any other mods, but a bug of the mod itself, I tried to play only with this mod and zombies still see me, for some reason the camouflage stops working after you approach the zombies, is it possible to fix this somehow?

For some reason this mod doesn't work for me, most likely mod conflicts on my end. Zombies detect me almost just as easy and when they chase me while camouflaged they can't bite me til it wears off lol

I recommend using this mod with the Rain Wash mod as it will make you lose camo during rainy days. Now you can live out the infamous Walking Dead scene in the first season.

Now make a mod that makes covering yourself in fresh zombie blood heal you and give you a speed boost

Like in the game with the vampire nikon where you can parry your own shotgun shells
