This mod made me see things in a whole new light. Before playing with the First Person View mod I absolutely LOATHED Noita. However, now that I have gotten to experience this mod, I can now safely say that Noita is my favourite game. After my wife passed, I only saw the dark. With first person Noita, I now see the light.

I reached a holy mountain YAY, suggestion: make it so that if the mouse is on the right side of the screen "W" moves you right and if your cursor is on the left side of the screen "W" makes you move left.
Suggestion2:
render enemies with their actual texture just rotated facing the player, that way it is easier to identify where they are to shoot at them

my game looks very weird with this enabled and doesnt play as the mod intended. everything is clipping through itself and the viewpoint is skewed horribly. it's trying to (from my understanding) render the game from the sidescrollign perspective while also using the 3d rendering techniques you described, and is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything up. please fix so I can torture myself with this mod once more.

and now the second part is partially wrong

Literally unplayable but if you offset the camera so you see the world in first person but from a 45 degree angle sideways to the game world you could actually display everything normal and we would be able to identify whats ahead of us

the thing i hate the most is that this is a noita mod. we play a game designed to make us suffer, and we decided it wasn't enough. we needed to feel more pain. more confusion.
10/10. 5 stars.

In my first run with this I even somehow managed to kill a couple of enemies (hamis included) and get to the coal mines, so it is possible to beat it, it's just too cursed
