If none of those options work, enable cheats via dev mode and spawn a batch of uranium in to build your arcane forge.
Thats all i got bud, soooo uh...yea. Good luck. If you got any more questions for me, ask whenever. Just @ and type my name to give me a "ping" of sorts.
Another method would be to use the Vanilla Expanded Achievement system ingame and call down shipments of raw materials or ship chunks. This would give you a chance of gathering the materials you require (but not always.
Hmmm..... Another method, and I cant remember if the mod is in the collection - is to plant specialized "magical" plants that can be harvested for raw iron, steel, gold, uranium, plasteel etc. Forgot the name of the mod to be fair.
Oh dude, that entire list is super outdated. Alot of those mods shouldnt necessarily work anymore with other parts of the collection.
Now with the magic mod that adds classes and such, you can get a Geomancer, or some other variant of a mage that can alter materials and turn them into something else.
Other than that, some enemies that attack will have uranium weaponry, so ill smelt that, or ill trade for it when traders swing by.
The most surefire way to gather uranium is to send a skilled raiding party to another territory or ruin, and explore. Give them a few big pack animals (like dinosaurs) and plenty of long lasting supplies, bedrolls, and some meds so they can fix most issues on the road (including healing/mana potions and such.
