It's zippy with rear antimatter thrusters and plasma for all the others! :D I have a disability that makes it harder to manipulate a mouse, so I like ships that are highly responsive to small mouse movements but not so twitchy that it's hard to control. This one in the current state I have it in is perfect for me, very easy for me to move around, and I'm really curious to see how she'll do with high-g or what I'll have to do to allow her to handle it under a full load. She has more than enough thrust right now for hauling around lots of stuff plus a mining SV that's not too much smaller than she is on top, but we'll see when I get to that point.

My favorite ship! I prefer small CVs that don't take forever to walk through, and I'm not a person who does heavy combat, so this ship suits me for an entire playthrough.

I play RE2, and this is always my starter CV. I upgrade it as recommended, but then upgrade all thrusters to plasma with antimatter in back, which makes it very maneuverable but not "twitchy." Once I get a carrier so that it no longer has to do warp jumps, I replace the warp drive with plasma turbines. It then runs without using fuel when the thrusters are off. At this point, I also remove the constructor and expand the main cargo capacity with extra extensions to about 200K and eventually more than that by using quantum extensions. In this form, it remains my planet-side loot-hauler and trading ship for the entire run.

I suspect that if all the thrusters are upgraded to antimatter, this can probably handle high-g, too, but I haven't tested that yet. I will soon!

This is one of my favorite starter CVs, especially for Reforged Eden's Purgatory and Dread starts. (yes, I cheat by getting into orbit in order to actually make the thing for Purgatory.)

Is there any chance of an updated version for RE2? It works mostly across the board, but it doesn't need the basic extender anymore since it comes in at under 60k CPU, and it increases the cost. I've modded it for my private collection but I think it'd be a useful thing for everyone else.

OMG! Dude. Small CVs have always been my passion in this game. Building the smallest, coolest looking, most functional CV I can takes up most all of the time I spend in this game. This thing is BY FAR the coolest and best looking small CV I have ever seen. Major kudos.

Great to hear Ian. Yeah that was something I had to resist, the growing of the vessel. I just needed something that could be a quick shuttle / disposable vehicle. It originally was designed to fit inside of the biggest hangar door, which it can if the edge turrets are taken off. There will be other proper starters made in the future. cheers o7

Albeit I don't use her in her stock configuration (widened the entire ship by a single block which allowed for 3 large solar panels as well as allowed the removal of the constructor in favor of an advanced radar) its been a lovely little ship to jump from system to system to do satelite hacking in my spare time when friends aren't online.
