I love the source animations as well, great mod here.

Left 4 Dead was basically a cs source game during its development for a long while, I think all the source guns fit right in.

Would you consider making a version in the l4d1 style, but right-handed, with the unused l4d1 m16 empty bolt-release reload, and an auto-shotgun deploy like what rocky did for his l4d1 ak47 mod?

So I know you said you're keeping the multiple firing animations, but do you think could limit the horizontal movement rather than the vertical? Guns tend to recoil upwards rather than violently jerking left and right like that, it just looks strange

Yea I figured it was something you were planning for. If I had to give a suggestion for the MP5, I think Cuba managed to get a version of it working in l4d1 on the m16 reload animations if you were able to try that in l4d2.

This is an amazing version of the Krieg 552 with l4d1 style animations, one of the best ones on the workshop honestly. Do you plan on doing the other cs:s weapons in this style? I'd love to see what you can do with the MP5 in l4d1 style handling animations.

It doesn't come packed with any custom scripts.

Only contents packed in the mod are the viewmodel, worldmodel and the HUD textures.

A guess of mine, but it could be that the script you are using is an old one, old script files for the SG552 used to force the weapon to be right-handed as it was originally made left handed, but since The Last Stand fixed that now those old script files make the weapon left handed.

any reason why it has a custom weapon script on it? I'm using custom weapon script, and im not sure if it will break without it.

I did consider very briefly lowering the firing animation amount to just one, but this in my opinion made the gun feel a bit... unlively?

Since the goal of the mod is to give CS:S animations a proper chance having a single fire animation made the gun feel like something was missing so instead I opted for keeping the three fire animations but lower their vertical recoil a little bit so it wouldn't feel as aggressive.

Ayy this is pretty good!
But, I think the firing would look better if it just had a single recoil animation like every other gun, since even when smoothed out, the gun moving in different directions when shooting (especially when it goes sideways) still looks kinda awkward
Also, I think the end of the reload could be refined a bit too, the bolt pull still looks a little jank (imo)

Incredibly well done. Love how it keeps the soul of the CSS weapons while making it stylistically fit with the l4d1 weapons.

The viewmodel does have a flashlight, the flashlight however is at the back of the gun in the same spot where it's shown in the worldmodel, no extra textures were applied to this so it should be compatible with the HD scopes mod.

The improvements are excellent, but the rifle is still too shaky when shot. The model simply bounces everywhere, making it appear merely silly.

Does the viewmodel also had flaslight model and also does it also have high quality texture like the scope texture had low quality reflection texture?
