the cargo ship beacon does not work, when trying to activate it, the settler just comes and goes, and nothing happens, how to fix it?

honestly unuseable, even with a nerfed version. at least VOID doesnt throw its OP stuff at you right off the bat. even the militors are nigh unkillable and are the ONLY thing that spawns in ancient dangers.

im trying to commission a ce patch for krall-tech. truthfully, i'd rather give the money to the creator of the mod to make a patch. i guess the going rate for something as big as this is a couple hundred bucks so please message me if youre interested. im on the rimworld mod commission discord.

Hey everyone, been a while eh? Apologies for the late reply, been drowning with a lot of tasks in real life, but I'm here to inform y'all that kraltech will be remade into modules in the future, just like The Army Of Fetid Corpses.

For the time being, this plan will fall later down the line, still need to finish the TAOFC modules and Hunterphage modules, and currently, I'm designing my very own zombie apocalypse scenario for the current TAOFC module using mechanics from anomaly.

So I hope you guys will be patient until then, Kraltech Industries will return!

Would you please give us an estimate on when the 1.5 update will be? Lots of people, including myself, love your mod and it will help us patiently wait know if and when you plan on updating it.

Do you hate your life? Do you want to fight in a battle with no path to victory? Well, if you answered YES to either question, download Kraltech! You'll get to peruse 1001 ways of being torn to pieces by nobodies that put Master Chief to shame and that can give Saitama a run for his money, all while suffering a variety of fun weather events that will make you wish your colonists lived in the void of space - because that would be more liveable! Rage virus? Heat waves++? A toxin developed by an ancient necromancer with an undying hatred for every living being to ever exist? You've got it!

Best form an alliance with VOID, because you aren't surviving an enforcer.

In all seriousness, I like this mod - but oh my god, my 1-year colony can't survive 4 guys with 200% armor and cybernetics that make them invincible. I'm beelining, trying to out-tech them. Recommended if you're either willing to die or use dev mode. This mod is ruthless, and as most have mentioned, it's very unbalanced.

Sounds fantastic but I am worried it will be kind of hardcore like the VOID.

I get this is an 'Hardcore' overhaul, hut here's some things I would like too see if-when kraltech is updated.
Balance, the obvious. Really, if the stuff was moved to be way more end-game It'd be fine. Getting hit with 5 Miltor MK.2 at a complex with dudes wearing plate mail is owie. (I had one of the EMP weapons of the mod and didn't even break one miltor shield.)

Vehicles. Let me ride the dragon >: ).

That's it, really. Just make the point of experiencing Kraltech stuff way later in the game and allow other op mods to also have some form of affect on dealing with Kraltech. (Watched a Void member get buttmushed by a few mechs was horrifying.)

So, Kraltech *mostly* works, but seems that research documents are buddy. No errors, but they also don't do anything.
I know the dev said they're working on "the real" mod, this is more for anyone else that really want so Kraltech in 1.5. Be forewarned

@bone: I would say its 50% compatible to CE: Weapons do not use the CE ammo system. They kind of work but especialy against Mechs they behave oddly and destroy parts only without doing alot of HP dmg.

yeah, as blackmarket said this mod is HORRIBLY balanced. I tried to run it in a playthrough but it just made everything boring or impossible. Wait for the full release unless you have a specific run in mind. Great mod, great potential, but the polish is about as clean as a well waxed pile of donkey shit.

My pawns do not attack each other during social fights with this mod installed. I'm not saying that this mod is causing it as I have many other mods installed, this is just the only one so far that I have found

Just a friendly reminder guys, kraltech is y far, a pilot mod, which means the real deal is now under developed, and ofc, I'll make the mod balanced. Although I'm pretty sure that I won't e working on this any time sooner considering the number of projects that I'll be making, though I hope you'll be patient until then.

@krof Gninut You can send them gold to become allies with them. Then you can call them up and ask for them to send a caravan which they will. Their caravan will have a good bit of stuff. Not everything, but a very good bit.

question, will there be another Kraltech Industries in the future thats more balanced? the artwork is great and the concept is rather good too but even with that lite version its still unbalanced. and giving mechs such high health causes the game to lag when viewing the health tab due to the game having to load all those injuries. i hope to see a more balanced version of this mod in the future that gets harder the more you play the game instead of throwing everything at you. like for example limiting how many days should pass for incidents to happen

There is a incompatibility with Rimsenal - Augmented Vanilla Pack, since they both use the def_name, Bullet_EMPRifle. For rimsenal, it is under weapons_charge.xml. For Kraltech, it is under Weapon_EMP.xml. If rimsenal is loaded after Kraltech, Rimsenal will change the Bullet_EMPRifle to explosive projectile which require a force miss radius for the Gun_EMPBurstRifle otherwise it will give the incorrect forcedMiss settings error on start-up if dev-mode is open on start-up. This may be fine, but it may break Rimsenal - Augmented Vanilla Pack if Kraltech is loaded after rimsenal
