i am suprised this got the elite grade but it is pretty cool though really cheap elite grade

I think it does deserve the elite grade just for how wacky it is.

on the bright side this is the elite grade, you most likely won't see this in game and no one is stupid enough to trade up to get this

It's a really nice hat to be honest, but I feel like a lot of people will hate you for it due to valve choosing it to be elite grade, which I agree with. This really shouldn't be an elite grade hat, maybe commando. Really neat idea though, saint lombax!

This isn't like Texas toast because why would you want a toaster on your head, it's funny I guess?. A fan is so generic that it doesn't look too out of place in hat when it comes to over the top war universes like tf2 or warhammer. Maybe Engineer needs cooling when working with heavy machinery or the hat is some sort of a computer that augments Engineer's brain so he needs cooling so he doesn't die from a heat stroke.

In all seriousness this is creative, fitting to the game's artstyle, and works with a lot of outfits. When folks create something with a unique feature like this, they often feel the need to make something elaborate and wacky. Yet these more simple, practical designs are far more in-line with the Engineer, and just far nicer in general.
