Upgrading works a little differently than other mods. First you need to have read the DMG tuning magazine, then you go up to the car and press the vehicle radial menu key (v by default) and select the customization option. From there, you can upgrade using materials from your inventory.
Also has a bit of a conflict with inventory tetris where if you can't fit all the crafting reqs in your main inventory at once, it just uses up the ones it can fit and doesn't actually install.
Very nice mod otherwise, though. Love the model!
