Hey there I tested out the mod last night and it seemed to work pretty well. I don’t know how to test the new nutritional values but I’m sure it works fine. The only issue I had was that planting the tubers had a longer time to grow than planting seeds. Is that intended?

Ah okay I hope they improve some of the farming mechanics in B42 to make more sense like how you’re describing. I’m still using B41 currently for mods. I appreciate you keeping both options though.

Basically you should be able to harvest seeds before getting the potato harvest itself, thats how it is IRL. I would prefer them just making it possible to plant the potato, not the seeds, without seeds even existing in the game, thats just me though, so I kept both options

I actually haven’t farmed much in game. What did TIS do? Do potatoes skip whole stages or what if you don’t mind me asking

It allows to plant potatoes as themselves, but keeps planting seeds as an option, because IRL you can do that, but thats really stupid and tricky. Also, funny enough, stages of the potatoes are completely messed up by TIS in the game, but thats a bit more tricky to fix

Okay then I’m not sure why this doesn’t have more downloads because that’s an awesome addition. I’ve been looking for a way to get around the vanilla mechanic because realistically you’d be able to plant the potatoes back. I’ll test it out once I get home thank you for responding to me

Yes, it does specifically that as one of main features. That was why I made the mod actually, vanilla mechanic seems weird to me

Hey there dumb question but does this mod allow you to plant the potato itself instead of seeds? Just checking because that’s what the description says and I can’t seem to find any other mod replicating that functionality.

I hope I will manage to, as I want to myself. We will see.

@The Water Connoisseur You can't produce multiple carrots from one carrot like you can with potatoes. At least not without petri dishes.

mod only works in sp. in mp you don't get any seeds and can't plant tubers

Add carrot compatibility aswell? they are also tubers and should also be able to be replanted with themselves.
