@daemonantares - While I use these mods for other things, they also have the fun effect of nudist colonies being slightly more well-equipped to raid me.

It moves packs to the torso slot from the belt slot. It also makes some other tweaks to apparel layers, but optionally you can turn on "nudists ignore utilities" which opens up the whole utility layer for you. You can also move some ammo belts and stuff from various other mods to different layers if you want.

which seems kinda up your alley. Masks, sashes, etc that many seem should be acceptable to nudists. It seems like the mod author's busy with bugfixes tho, so maybe when they done RutraNickers would you consider supporting it? :)

Thanks for the reply. I have indeed been unable to find a mod for this yet. The 'simplest' 'fix' might be to universally not count 'outer' and 'headwear' layer clothing as counting for clothing, covering the ability to wear hats and a cloak for warmth during the winter without a total freak-out for nudists or the incompatibility with ideoligion. Right now, many of my pawns are complaining about the cold or about wearing clothing, so it's a debuff either way x3

@daemonantares unfortunately, this mod only adds a tag to modded apparel to make then nudist-friendly. What you are searching for is a fundamental change in how the clothing precept works, so I honestly think it's only possible with a Harmony patch [AKA using C# instead of XML]. Unfortunately I don't know how to program in C#, so I can't help you.

About mods that could help you, maybe Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Hats and Rags will let you fine tune the required clothing better.

Hello - Figured I'd ask you more directly, if this even works: I've a very specific concern here that you *may* be able to help with. Asides from nudists wearing hats /accessories without getting cranky about it, the ideology precepts of 'limited clothing' like full nude or pants-only etc. Don't allow for head-wear accessories like cloaks to be added as desired attire.

So we are back to square-one with the issue you are trying to fix with this mod. Could you perhaps add this change to this mod, making head-wear and accessories exempt from the 'clothing' category for ideologies? If not, any advice on how I can fix this myself or other mods that might help (I've found none so far form hours of looking) would be lovely.

I'm desperately hoping this counts for cloaks as well, if it did... doing a nudist raider run with cloaks/masks as the only apparel would finally be possible, given cloaks hardly cover anything.

Does this work for/is there an alternative that works for Vanilla Expanded stuff? I find it strange that all the hats from the VE mods are counted as clothing.

Is it feasible for this to be done for vanilla clothes? I'm interested in attempting to make something similar, cuz there's some clothes that in vanilla that are just like, come on bro, you're wearing an open jacket and no pants, you're basically not wearing clothes.
