Regarding that change, those units have upwards to 300 range, providing little risk vs reward play.

@Grumpy, have unfortunately been unsuccessful in updating the main barrage to HE rounds. Though we have reduced the scatter of the incendiary barrage, which should give more space for units to move or retreat in time

Finally found some time to get around updating the tuning pack, great suggestions again nigo! Though there's quite a number of them that couldn't be tested nor implemented due to the limitations of the editor even with the new updates. Would also very much like to spawn engineers if the HQ is destroyed.

For the nebels, what about making HE the default barrage and incendiary an ability that costs munitions? Two of them can make it extremely difficult to cap a VP.

Fyi, wehrmacht pios that you build anew cant repair vehicles that(only the one you start with does). Also british bren gun upgrade for rifle sections is locked behind t4?

It's a shame it was missed, would've actually missed it myself until I QA'd the issue and discovered why it was the case. The callin is oddly using the campaign one located in "abilities\races\american\campaign\company\armoured\active\core\right\c_armoured_easy_8_core_us"

Hopefully! I did report them to Relic before posting them here, but whether they act on them is another story. It is kinda lazy that they changed the unit that arrives with the E8 but never updated the tooltip for it.

If you're interested in some other text bugs I can tell you on Steam. I have reported to Relic but with them you never know how quickly they'll be fixed, if at all. A couple are gameplay-related in that they are now giving factually incorrect information. I can just send you the screenshot I sent Relic.

Also, I *think* they ninja-removed the Jeep's signal detection ability (the one that required the Jeep upgrade you re-added), so just make sure you still have that.

Another typo, though idk if you can fix this one, is I've noticed when people look at AI battlegroup names (I forget if it's in-game or just in the post-game summary screen), one of them - I assume t he DAK one - is called 'ARMORED SUPPOT' if I recall. There's definitely an R missing from SUPPORT in one of them. I saw it again recently but it's been in since release.

Oh and idk if you've fixed this already, but an old typo still in vanilla is the global upgrade for BARs is still called 'Browing Automatic Rifles'

Thanks for the update, good job.

One thing to perhaps consider, though I'm no expert to say how warranted it is: Dane often rages (in general, but still...) about the fact that AT rifles have deflection damaged enabled. Is this necessary?

I agree nigo, traversal updates are a must fix on Relic's side and its odd that pivot attributes exist and traversal exists in some form, but is overridden by the unit's rotation. We'll investigate further on this issue alongside pathing, but cannot guarantee any meaningful changes can be implemented.

In the meantime, we've done a full audit and updated the tuning pack after 1.1.14 Balance changes. Also managed to fit the entire change list to the description as it fits within the character limit now

Pathing and unit response weirdness are still total bullshit. It must be a culmination of a number of factors that are causing it, and I appreciate it's probably difficult to fix, but it's absolutely awful at times.

The Relic patch is good, but a lot of things need work yet. Like STUG rotation, Marders, 0 CP units dropping in fog and etc.

Thanks! Looks like Relic has preempted and implemented well needed smoke changes too. We'll be updating the tuning pack as soon as we can to adjust to "addressed" changes while keeping changes we believe are still relevant. Afterwards we'll be keeping a close eye on the meta, collate notes, and adjust as needed.

That's a very good suggestion nigo, especially given the free cost and proliferation of smoke. Will take a look. UI range is unfortunately precalculated by their UI system and only visualizes the min and max distance of the unit. Range markers would be brilliant though zveroboy. Eager to see what the designers have in store for the patch! I'd be happy if they recognize and address the big issues plaguing today's meta if they don't manage to bring us a multi-page change list

I can't check atm but something I just randomly remembered: it used to be the case that the text for the Dingo's arty ability said it used the base howitzers, but it never has, it's always just been an off-map mortar barrage. If Relic haven't already fixed this, it's something you could take a look at.

Another thing to look is "smoke" (all of them).

Reduce the impact of the smokes, especially in the early game. Maybe nerf time, price, availability, size and etc.

Fixed zveroboy, thanks for catching that game issue!

The Essence Editor does allow for limited tuning of battlegroup abilities nigo. Attributes such as timing, cost, requirements, and even damage. The actual abilities and what they do is unfortunately limited without access to state trees. We would like to take a crack at UKF's Training Center and DAK's Armory though if they expand on the Editor in the future

Oh whilst I remember: pretty sure when Relic removed a squad member from Panzerjaegers they forgot to reduce their squad slot size. Have you done this?

Good suggestion, done! Ideally I'd like to put the entire change list of the tuning pack in the main description, but Steam has a character limit. So people will unfortunately have to go to the change notes tab to see the extensive changes in this pack
