I think if found the real issue if you type the letter "ext" into any item browser mod it completely breaks. The problem item shows up only when you search it and appears as a blank slot. This item breaks, Hero's mod, cheat sheet, recipe browser, and Quite Enough Recipes mods. I think the crashing may be related to that.
