Have you made the null areas impassable terrain? That will stop the no-man’s-land drops.

@[CN]突击队队员 I'm looking into that but it seems to be just another AI problem of this game... I'm currently working on an extended version of this map featuring a wider playable area, hopefully the AI will yeeet those supply run more towards the center.

Yes, I have just started looking into making maps for COH3 today, as I have given up on my COH3 tuning pack career. I had made a bunch of COH2 maps, & from what I observe the AI works the same. It captures regions 1 away from the HQ, then 2 away etc. But as an absolute, not a distance thing. So some maps you see with a river... & because the the region on the other side of the river actually borders the HQ, it will run all the around & capture that first, often running past other (physically closer) cap points. So you need to paint the regions with that in mind. The use of null (nothing) areas is a great way to get the AI to do what is sensible.

@ADLER Thanks for the feedback! I’m very new to the editor so I’m still exploring things that I could do with it. So what you mean is that I should make areas that are none playable null?

Some of the rushing could be related to the way the regions are painted, if you nulled the empty areas, the AI would cap more sensibly. Painting the regions by hand is a mapping must.

Kai, those things are COH3 issues, not the map. What the actual hell with all the vehicles driving in revers though... that is a real RELIC fail.

Though I did play on this map with high difficulty AI and all four of them bum rushed my side using halftracks and quad mounted halftracks, for some reason IN REVERSE.

The issue of using 4v1 or 4v2 AI computers at higher difficulty on the current maps, or even other modded maps, is that the AI cheats by spawning resources or units rapidly that a player cannot do, leading to them pushing your base under 5 minutes on the hardest difficulty. Not like you can push against a halftrack and half a dozen squads of panzergrenadiers in that time.

Then what about a 6v2 co-op map? If that's possible with the team layout that is.
The idea is you can get 4 or even 6 players on the same side fighting 1 or 2 AI computers that owns a large amount of resources and you need to push them back bit by bit. Higher difficulty AI are likely to cheat though especially with grenades and 'rapid' building deployment (game breaking mechanics).

@Kai Hi and thank you for the feedback! Vehicle now no longer have access to the stairs and the elevated platform, I've also added sandbags on the platform to make early game more interesting. As for making a framing map, no I currently have no intention of making a map like that. For now, I want to make more maps that provides a fresh and interesting experience to coh3 gameplay. However, I do want to make an attack and defense style map.

Can you make a farming map where bridges starts destroyed and the path must be opened up first? Or neutral tank traps exists?

I set the hardest AI for enemy and the easiest AI for allies, and as usual the enemy will cheat more in general and super build, they pushed to our side in under 5 minutes before I even walled it off with tank traps lol.

Also weasels goes underneath the floor in the mid section where the stairs are.

@GotWeenies I do wonder too but according to stats on steam it is really popular! I just wanted to make one that is functional and looks cool. Check out my other maps if you are interesting in wider maps, now that I’m getting more familiar with the game and editor I’m going to make much wider maps in the future!

Fun bridge map! The bridge cannot be destroyed and it's wide enough to prevent traffic jams. Excellent! Love the Halloween vibes as well;)
